Wasted Potential
The course has plenty of potential, but was ruined by the staff and the conditions. First, we show up and there is a 10 person backup on hole 1. After waiting to tee off 17 minutes after our tee time, another golfer mentioned it wasn’t a full 18 today, but rather, everyone was playing the front 9 twice. The clubhouse, cart attendant, and the starter all failed to mention that as we prepared for our round. On top of that, every single green was covered in sand, which they also conveniently omitted before charging full price. The course layout has plenty of potential, but the lies from the staff and horrible conditions were enough to drive us away for good

Back playing there after a year. Always a fairly tight course for high handicap players and mistakes are not easily forgiven. Course was is good condition given the lack of rain although there was a fairly high number of GUR areas that made lies difficult. Staff very good and welcoming.

great course
Went to this course on a weekday and it was busy. Mix between waking players and cart. Was quite busy and they were found maintenance on the morning we were playing. Overall good course, hilly, not many par 5s. Lots of 3s and 4s. Fairways in great condition and staff was very friendly.

Nice track
The course is a very nice and well run. Fairways were thin and brown in a few areas but overall, the course was in good shape. It is rather narrow thus removing driver from your hands from the blue tees, if you drive it more than 260 yards. Beautiful elevation and pretty holes along the lake. Definitely worth the drive outside of the city. Rates were reasonable.

Pace of play was really slow. Enough Rangers on this course that we should not be waiting to
hit every shot. Play it once or twice a month as it not my first choice for reason of its pace to play.

Soggy Day - still a great course
It rained the night before, and for about 15 minutes during our round, so the course was fairly wet. Having said that, this is still one of my favorite courses to play in Atlanta. The layout is challenging, with barely a flat spot anywhere in the fairways. The greens were in very good condition and fairways are coming in nicely with the warmer weather we have had. Absolutely add this course to your must play list. Staff was very friendly and course has very nice setup with quick serve outside grille and facilities.

Course was in great shape and greens were quick but fair! I’ve played here about 5 times now and have had a great time every time! You absolutely have to get over to Cobblestone if you haven’t yet!

Not a CPO course
Tough course when cart path only because of the moguls along the cart paths. Greens rolled good. Not enough sand in bunkers for amateurs as club bottoms out in bunkers due to lack of sand.

Great course and clubhouse!!!! Employee at 1st Hole to greet you.... PFFFFF
All was well, bag check, staff in pro-shop, etc. Now, for the gentlemen at the first hole to give you the overview for the day, probably not the most hospitable or friendly person in the world. Paid for 4 people and 2 carts, but only 2 of our people showed up. Guy was trying to force us into one cart, then before teeing off was making sure we would play fast because they had quite full booked day.

Cart Path Only …so often!
Something needs to change with how often Cobblestone has CPO..especially on a day when weather is over 80 AND the course was DRY everywhere! After playing a 5 hour plus round it makes golfing NOT enjoyable. Played Bradshaw yesterday and was wide open. Today decision for CPO made NO sense at all and if you asked your customers you would have heard this from so many today. Feedback is a gift and hopefully it doesn’t fall on deaf ears. Thank you.
