Beautiful
Had a great time at Cobblestone! It was my first time but the staff made me feel at home. The course was extremely beautiful but also pretty difficult. A lot of bunkers that you have to be weary of, other than that you will enjoy the views of the water!

Course was in great shape. Only downer was cart path only. It was 90+ but rained the previous day.

Attention to detail still exists
Nice facility, cold water scattered throughout the course, greens in nice shape. Time for new carts though.

Really loved this course!
It was a hike for me to get there because I live in Duluth but it was well worth it! The staff was very accommodating and the amenities were very nice! The practice range/chipping/putting greens were very nice and the course itself was BEAUTIFUL! So many holes that involved a gorgeous view of the water!! I think they new that if you loved the view you wouldn't be as concerned with all the sandtraps that you would find yourself in lol. I might have been beach-free on 2 holes. Wasn't my best ball-striking day but really enjoyed myself and will definitely be going back very soon!

Awesome Course!!
I had a wonderful time playing here for the first time. The course is beautiful, challenging, and the pace of play was great. Their cart paths need a little love but it was no biggie. I will definitely be playing again.

Great course
It’s very nice on a lake. Probably the best condition public course in the metro area. Fairways are very nice. Greens were being arrietrd but still very nice. They had cool shapes and good slopes. Not the easiest to putt on.

Aeration
Not a great deal when greens have just been aerated.Fairways and tee boxes are in good condition but the greens have recently been aerated and there is more sand on the greens than in some of the bunkers
Staff are friendly and the cart girl came around regularly.
Nice layout and would recommend this place to anyone once the greens have recovered

Marshall is a jerk
Marshall approached us 5 times and we were actively on top of the group in front of us.
Staff training needed.

Wasted Potential
The course has plenty of potential, but was ruined by the staff and the conditions. First, we show up and there is a 10 person backup on hole 1. After waiting to tee off 17 minutes after our tee time, another golfer mentioned it wasn’t a full 18 today, but rather, everyone was playing the front 9 twice. The clubhouse, cart attendant, and the starter all failed to mention that as we prepared for our round. On top of that, every single green was covered in sand, which they also conveniently omitted before charging full price. The course layout has plenty of potential, but the lies from the staff and horrible conditions were enough to drive us away for good

Back playing there after a year. Always a fairly tight course for high handicap players and mistakes are not easily forgiven. Course was is good condition given the lack of rain although there was a fairly high number of GUR areas that made lies difficult. Staff very good and welcoming.

great course
Went to this course on a weekday and it was busy. Mix between waking players and cart. Was quite busy and they were found maintenance on the morning we were playing. Overall good course, hilly, not many par 5s. Lots of 3s and 4s. Fairways in great condition and staff was very friendly.

Nice track
The course is a very nice and well run. Fairways were thin and brown in a few areas but overall, the course was in good shape. It is rather narrow thus removing driver from your hands from the blue tees, if you drive it more than 260 yards. Beautiful elevation and pretty holes along the lake. Definitely worth the drive outside of the city. Rates were reasonable.
