Holly play
Way over price for holiday greens. Not enough golf carts.
$22.00 for cart rental is way too much!for 9 holes. Will not play there during a holiday again.
Tired and Needs Attention
The course had a nice layout, even if the directional signage was poor. Crossing the highway was also very dicey and since it was busy you are at the mercy of drivers stopping to let you cross. Most fairways had mostly yellowing grass with a few looking like they were watered regularly. Greens were decent. Signage going from the 5th hole to 6th (could be 7th) was non existent and made finding the tee box difficult since it’s been moved to the middle of the fairway!
Finally Back!
It's absolutely fantastic to see Azusa Greens back in action after all these years, and let me tell you, the wait was worth it! This course is a real gem and, without a doubt, the best value you'll find in this price range. The course itself is in excellent condition – clearly, a lot of care and attention has been poured into its revival. Each hole offers a unique challenge and the greens are surprisingly well-maintained.
Beyond the course, the clubhouse exudes a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. From checking in to grabbing a post-round drink, their warm smiles and helpful attitudes truly enhance the overall experience.
However, I do have to mention one significant drawback: getting to and from a few of the holes requires crossing a busy public street. Unfortunately, there isn't a traffic light or even any crosswalk lights to improve visibility for motorists when golfers are crossing. I actually had a couple of close calls with cars speeding by, which was quite unnerving. This is definitely something the management needs to address for the safety and peace of mind of their patrons.
Despite this safety concern, the quality of the golf course and the exceptional service in the clubhouse make Azusa Greens a must-play. If they can find a solution to the street crossing issue, this course would easily be a five-star destination. For now, just be extra cautious when making those crossings, and you'll be rewarded with a fantastic round of golf at an unbeatable price.
leisure time in the afternoon
Cant complain. Easter sunday in the afternoon... wide open. Great weather.
Sure the fairways need work, but overall.. its a quick 9 hole. Good value
Enjoy
Green are fair
Put a little money into the course to make it more inviting, maybe add a par 5 on the back nine,
Overall fair course to play on,
Best kept secret but not for long!
It’s comin back to life course / greens good condition especially the greens but Golfers please fix your green divots!
Slowly improving
For a 9 holes course, what can expect, the tee box needs much to improve.. green we’re good..
