Azusa Greens Golf Course

The starter was very friendly, won’t think twice about playing here again.

Pace of play is good but the fairway is poorly maintained. A lot of brown and bare spots.

Pace of play Slow course layout weird but great day for golf

Course in excellent condition. Weather in mid-70's. Greens and fairways in excellent condition. Always enjoy the layout of the holes and splendor of the mature trees throughout the course.

Course fairways and greens in need to help, send fivesomes out with no marshall . Had a five hour round thinking tee time of 7:00 am in morning would get me out quickly, ouch! Ouch!

I wanted to play a round, new it would be a rainy day. Course is really in need of repair. Fairways are in terrible shape and so are the greens. Only played the course due to the fact I had two gift certificates. I realize this course has been around a long time. But to charge $40 plus for a round of golf here is sad. It really isn’t worth more than $25.00 a round.

Nothing special about this place. It's a slow pace and the conditions can be better. A true golfer is willing to play anywhere. If you never played here, at least try it. I have played here a couple of times. Probably will not play here again. There is a lot of other courses that are better.

Typically I’ll Golf this course when I want to play a quick, cheap round; however, that was not the case yesterday. My buddy and I played as a twosome and we’re stuck behind 3 groups of either 3/4 while the round took 5+ hours. You’d figure as a twosome on a Wednesday morning you’d be able to fly through a round but this was by far the slowest round I’ve played at Azusa. We would at times be waiting at he tee box with one group in the fairway 100 yards out while the other two groups are waiting at the tee box in front of us. Then these groups would wait till the group in front was nearly on the green and then tee off 100-150 yards. Definitely disappointed in yesterday’s round.

Fairways were in bad shape. Greens were in pretty good condition and plenty of sand in bunkers.

The course layout is simple and fun. The staff was nice and the amenities were good! The problem I see is the fairways had the patches bad grass that grows tall and is hard to hack out when you are near the green. Another problem is the course has no boundaries from the adjacent streets. People wander on to the course taking a leisurely stroll!?

The fairways are bit hard and your ball will roll forever. I felt I was getting more distance on my drives! Most of the greens were in good shape.

I will most likely go back but I find it hard to believe if the course will ever improve.

Always enjoy playing at Azusa Greens. Very scenic, never crowded during mid-day during the week. Great price for $18.00 using GolfNow.com, too! Course was in excellent shape. Look forward to coming back again next week.
