Nice Round
Good course to play. The greens were a little bumpy from the extra summer watering.
1st hole in one
Made my first hole in one at this course on hole 17 was a great day of golf with some good friends
Limited balls needed
Very good course to bring friends to and enjoy the game of golf. I've played this course many times with the Same ball it's hard to loose a ball here not much OB. But that's not saying there isn't a chance to find balls tucked in the tree line
Another Great Time
Great time out at Kern River Golf Course very golfer friendly loads of practice facilities and very good course conditions.
Pace of play!
Why have a marshal if they’re not going to enforce pace of place and grouping. We ran into a slow playing twosome that ending up joining with a slower playing threesome. Extremely hard to enjoy the course when constantly waiting at the tee box for 10 or more minutes. 18 holes took us 4hours 40 mins. I enjoyed the course itself, felt the green were over watered and extremely slow. It’s hard enough to get out and play as a dad. But when you tell the wife 4 hours max and you have to deal with slow play it makes it impossible to keep your word.
Great for Beginners
Great course to learn on and really work on your game. A low course Par course no water hazards and for $25/18 holes and a cart you can not beat that for the course conditions
Great public course
A very nice county course, and a great value for the money.
Good experience
The layout was fun and offered some nice challenges. Smaller greens, no water, some traps. Every hole seemed to have some kind of a feature to Add a little challenge. Did not love the soccer golf holes on the course as it made it confusing finding the green on some holes.
The conditions were ok at best. Pretty beat up at points and very dry. The greens were in decent shape though. Tee boxes were a bit beat up and uneven a lot of times.
Fun course
Fun but challenging course. It was in really good conditions. A few of the par 4's are very difficult to reach in 2 unless you're a long-knocker, which I'm not.
Never lost a ball and never felt like I was at risk of losing. Plenty of developed trees and shade.
