I’ve seen multiple balls land on both drivable par 4’s

Players need to wait for the green to clear… just like they would on a par 3… a driver flying onto the green is highly dangerous and reckless if people are still on the green. Any shot could be potentially lethal on 13 and 18 (especially in the summer time when drives travel farther)

Played here 3 times per week … but the combination of bad experiences with beginners, almost getting hit by golf balls without warning, and the staff reluctant to back me up when an issue occurs … make me want to take my 3 year membership elsewhere. It’s less enjoyable at Birch these days. But hopefully they can bring it back to the good old days!

There is mud and water in the bunker,

So the ball gets stuck in the mud and cannot be hit.

The amenities for wiping the ball were not working (there was no water).

Need to add sand to the impossible bunkers … they are more penal than going into a water hazard … some lady behind me complained to the marshal Mike that I was taking mulligans and holding up their group … how is it possible to NEED a mulligan when you hit 16/18 greens? My only bogeys were the 2 shots from the dirt bunkers. Be prepared to wait on the drivable par 4’s… and try to avoid confrontation

At this course… we had a group of friends gather as a 3 some and he only harassed me and no one else … if I’m parked under a tree in the rough … he’ll flip out. So be prepared to sit in the sun when of it’s 100 degrees!

This is a par 3 course… but costs as much as Westridge, Diamond Bar, and Fullerton. Not sure why they charge the same rate as a full length par 72 course? I used to come here twice a week, but you’ll find better value elsewhere.

Pace of play is also around 4 hours. With most holes only @ 100 yards

Course conditions are perfect at the moment… My only complaint is some of the people who play at this course lack golf knowledge… today, I hit 16/18 greens and shot 2 under par… While some lady behind me complained that I was “holding up their group” and had zero awareness that I was waiting to hit on every hole… 16/18 greens in regulation… that’s as fast as it gets ! People need to be more sensible so we can all enjoy our round .

Two ladies insisted that I hit my tee shot on 13th hole… A drive able par 4 @ 280 yards… I tell them I shouldn’t because it’s dangerous…. They complain that I’m holding them up … and so it hit and drive it on the green! For eagle … next time , ignore those two ladies or if you hit someone … it’s on you!!! $$$

Old guy hates his job, never gracious and the worst of the staff, everyone else are always friendly and appreciative of the customers, it too bad,

Joshua Garcia avoided Lake Joshua and shot -10 … the new course record… proving that you can go low on this course if the conditions are good

The pace of play is way to slow, course conditions are pretty bad for the price.

There was a 3-person group in front of us who really slowed the pace of play towards the back 9 of the course. When we got to the 16th hole, they had created a 5-group traffic jam based on their pace of play and there wasn’t a Marshal around to speed them up. This pace really killed the golfing vibe for the remaining holes. Other than this, the round was pretty good.

It was a nice hot , breezy day and my playing buddies were friendly people.

I made it through 13 holes before my 86 year old legs said "quit."

As I've said before, this exec course lets you play all your clubs, so, come out and have some fun.
