Brentwood Golf Club - Creekside/Hillside Course

Staff were very friendly, condition is ok, price is cheap. Would play again.

I haven't played here for a few years. Lots of crappy grass in the fairways. Gophers galore with their old mounds not being leveled out. the greens rolled decent but lots of bad spots. Just didn't look good. The two holes they got rid of were good ones and replaced with short par 3's (YUCK). All the water used to be nice. Now Reeds are growing tall, they are covered with moss. It just brings the course down with the look.

Great course, only complaint is the bunkers have a ton of rocks. If they would take the old dirt/rocks out of the bunkers and replaced with sand that doesn’t have rocks this course would be 5 stars

Played Brentwood today,first time in a long time.Not impressed.The greens were the best thing about the course and they were just above average.The bunkers are so hard they can't be racked

Too many weeds in the fairway

Several holes have been changed to the detriment of the course

Played on the cheap with my golf now deal 12$

which was a great deal..but if you have to pay the 65$ they charge on a weekend you will feel like they stole from you

No one course amenities so prepare.

Course was in pretty rough shape for the price we paid.

So firstly let's talk value. It was offered on golf now for 22 dollars on a hot deal and I could use my 10 dollar monthly discount so I payed 12 dollars cart included. Now thats a bargin. So you would think for this it would be a terrible course. Nope! Conditions were a little soft, couple balls plugged and there was some mud in places, never so much that you couldn't find the ball, which was a surprise but also nice not to have to worry about taking a divot and breaking a wrist. The course layout was one of the most interesting I have seen through a housing complex so you crossed roads to get to tee boxes and drove on the roads but it meant every hole was a new surprise around a corner. The course itself was a gem. So many interesting holes, elevation changes and water on so many holes that just made it interesting, some open tee shots some tee shots you needed to be in control of your ball. And the greens ran really nice. Smooth. Recommend. Would go back again for sure

The course, as always, is a fun course to play, greens rolling great, sandtraps are a disaster, but you can't have everything. They're adding a couple of simulator bays in the clubhouse, and are constructing a driving range on the old Diablo 1st fairway. Hopefully a putting green is coming also. Almost everytime I play here, the owner is on site and is always enthusiastic and excited to show off the improvements. Pace of play was great, our foursome finished in 4 hours.

I always enjoy Brentwood GC because I like the layout and the kindness of the workers in the pro shop. With the hot weather, the course conditions are caught between a rock and a hard place...if you don't overwater then the course burns up. If you overwater too much, then you have tons of mud and wet spots. The latter was the case this time. The course was pretty soggy, but not enough that it ruined the round. I appreciate their efforts at keeping the course green! The one thing that did ruin the round, was the twosome that was playing in front of us. To say they were slow is an understatement. They actually held up our foursome, and three other foursomes behind us. It was ridiculous, and we came to find out that they were each playing TWO BALLS. Etiquette is not just a high-scoring word in Scrabble. A marshal was definitely needed. I feel that it's not our place to confront other golfers on their speed of play. I really like playing Brentwood and will definitely return. I hope the pace of play issues will be resolved.

I have played this course a few times now, always worth the drive.

The course has a long way to go but is trending in the right direction. There are a couple of holes that need serious work. If you want to get some practice in it is great for that. The course layout is not bad.
