Great Little Course
This course is a great course to use your irons on when Teeing off due to the numerous par three holes. I want to thank the course managemanet and crew for repairing the greens, they are in much better shape. This is a fun course but if you don't hit straight bring extra balls, there are several holes with opportunity to lose your ball.
Greens not in good condition
I have played here several times, at different times of the year, but conditions were average at best for the course overall. I heard from other players that this course is experiencing some type of fungus on the greens, was never informed of any conditions prior to making my reservation for today!
We had to wait on EVERY hole. The people in front of us thought they had the whole gold course to themselves. Hit front the blue tees and they should have been hitting from the reds. We left on 13 due to frustration !!!
Nice Course, but the greens need serious love.
My first time here and the course layout was cool and really fun. It definitely forces you to play every club in the bag which I enjoyed. However, apparently the greens caught a disease in September that did serious damage. Some greens were still playable and some were in really bad shape. It def cost me a couple birdies and pars but overall great layout.
1/10/21 greens in bad shape
Apparently there’s diseased grass on many of the greens lately. Lots of bumpy dead patches on almost all the greens, which made it hard to read/make longer putts. Kinda frustrating. Outside of that it was a good round.
Greens are in horrible shape
They need to let people know they have lost the greens and when they will be fixed.
Too Bad
Use to be nice course. Greens are bumpiy and disease plagued.
Fairways bald in many spots.
Too bad.
Greens and grass are in poor shape
First time playing here. The green were all un puttable. The fairways were not much better. Thankfully the wind didn’t pick up because that would have made it really bad. Overall a lot of blind tee shot and poor conditions of the greens. Would not recommend. Even with a hot deal.
Worst condition in 25 years of golf
Close down the course and figure it out. It’s a crime to charge people to play this goat farm. The place used to fun and in good shape. Nots it’s fraudulent to take someone’s hard earned money for a green fee here. I’ve been golfing 25 years 7 handicap but like small charming courses and this is the worst course I’ve ever played.
Overall nice course
Wish I would have been made aware of the following before booking my tee time:
1. Greens are in bad shape, appear to have some sort of disease and very rough.
2. Tee’d off at 1 pm, pace was super slow worse than it’s ever been. The Marshall seemed to be trying to speed things up which was appreciated. But the 2nd disappointment was when a course staff came out at 4:30 pm and said all carts were due back at 4:45 pm. Total bummer, especially since there was at least 45 mins. Of daylight remains, wish I would have known this before booking. Don’t mean to be negative, just thought people should know.
Greens hurt by fungus
The greens are in bad shape due to fungus. Most of the greens are 1/2 dirt. They’re charging at a discounted rate but it’s still not worth it imo
Putting on four wheel
Fairways are good
The greens are very bad lots of dead spots and no bodies care to fix their divots you can’t have a true game
Great track
Actually love this course. Its smaller, but always in good shape. Pace of play is always about 4 hrs. Good food and the staff is awesome!
Dublin Ranch Dec 2020
What is happening with this course? There are grassless patches throughout the fairways and the greens are the roughest I’ve ever seen. Are they giving up on this course?
Terrible
This course is garbage. Greens are made of dirt and gofer holes. No pride from ownership or management. They should be embarrassed not only to allow golfers on this course but to charge for it.
Greens are littered with speed bumps
The greens are horrible. Dead patches all over. Your ball will jump right, left and bounce up and down on the green. The conditions have gotten worst. I hope they find a way to patch up the greens. It can be a great course if they kept up the greens quality.
