lazy golfers
The greens would be really nice if the lazy golfers would repair their divots. None of the bunkers were kept up. Most of them have sand and it would be nice to see them playable without raking your own place to play the ball.

always a great time
seems like a lot of people want to complain. i have none. i play all the time. make the best of it. the conditions make of break your shots. play tight and true you will have a great day. play off the the aide your day will be long. it’s always a great time out with friends on the course. could be worst. we could all be working.

Golf
Played 9 holes by myself for the first 3 holes. Ended up joining another single golfer ahead of me. It’s a nice course with friendly staff. No driving range and practice green was closed.
Some of the putting greens had gopher holes.

Golf cart calamities
Golf carts are equipped with gps and most holes are inaccessible via golf cart. Carts shut off and become inoperable until a reset procedure is completed. My buddy had to play a hole in reverse because he couldn't reset his cart. It also shut off on him in the middle of the cart path. We were absolutely hammered but that had no impact on our ability to safely operate the golf carts. The cart situation really impacts pace of play. Hole 1 is cart path only which creates a severe back up. Our tee time was 9:53 and didn't tee off until 10:30. I'm we didn't finish our round until 3:45.

Playing Brentwood
The course overall was great to play. The greens are rough. The ball bounces a lot. I ended up fixing a lot of ball marks on the greens. Other players are poor at fixing ball marks. Lastly, the greens need to be rolled.

Way Overpriced
This course is way overpriced for the condition it’s in and if your not limited to where you can enter the fairway with a cart the hole is cart path only. Taking serious advantage of other courses closing in the area.

Terrible , save your money
Course is in terrible shape. The greens are the worst, it would be worth playing at $25, but not at $40+. Save your money and go elsewhere. This has been my home course for many years and I won’t play it again.

Adequate course
The practice putting green is terrible. Might have been better if it was just covered with sand. It did not help with the putting on the course in any way. TERRIBLE! Several of the actual greens had what appeared to be fungus growth and were not true because of that. Many of the what could be called sand traps were just dirt pits with water drainage paths running through them. Just picked up and played around them. Water ponds were green with algae. The GPS in the carts are helpful, but they rule you out-of-bounds, even when are the path. Several times, I just drove backwards down the path until I was clear again. I play this course several times a month because it is close to my home, not in Somerset, but close. I am waiting for Shadow Lakes to reopen just for the more local competition

Hillbilly Central
Terrible. 3 hours and 15 minutes to play the front 9. Teed off at 9:15. Completely unacceptable. Guys playing in T-shirts and jeans with no clue on how to play “Ready Golf.” Stay away from this place.

Save your $$
For the condition of the course it should be a $20 round. T boxes are in horrible condition, I would give them a break on the fairway condition since we are in a drought but there are mud puddles all over the place from lack of water system maintenance. The greens are no better. Half if not more are overwatered not rolled and you cannot roll a putt without needing 4 wheel drive for your ball. I would look elsewhere for a round of golf until this once preferred course takes some of the money they are pulling in and put it back into the course. It is not far from being in the same condition as Deer Ridge is now since it has been shut down for a few years.

Worse golf course in the Bay Area
This is the worst golf course in the Bay Area. The fairways are all dirt or full of weeds, no sand in the bunkers and the greens haven’t been rolled in years, there super bumpy . What a waste of time and money.
