Nestled in Coachella Valley, Date Palm Country Club sits at the base of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountain ranges, providing nearly every hole on the golf course with a stunning view. The course is the centerpiece of a popular retirement community near Palm Springs, a location that enjoys nice weather year-round and is just 20 minutes from shopping, dining, and museums. The layout is on the shorter side, but it still has some challenging holes. The golf course demands accuracy with every contour of the rolling terrain and you'll be put to the test even further when maneuvering the small greens and narrow fairways. The bunkering is minimal but strategic at Date Palm C.C., and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice putting green.

Good Outing
Great round of golf. Only complaint was greens are very slow and inconsistaent.
The greens were well manicured
Because of the time of year the course was being prepped for reseeding and even it didn’t look as pretty I had a great time golfing.
Some challenging holes, great course for recreational players as I am.
Great value with a few challenges but otherwise a a fun round for recreational golfers.
Fun course in great shape
Nice course for a change of pace from the big name types. Mostly par threes with some short par fours thrown in. Course condition was superb
Where It Began
this is where I learned to play golf five years ago - I like to go back and play this executive course to see where my game is along with the challenges I still face on this course. As an example the 8th hole you have to hit over water to get on the green - this is truly a challenge for me - even today! This course is well maintained, the carts are in good shape and a very friendly staff.
This course has great features.
This course is fairly easy. Green are clean and well maintenance. I will come back.

Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who loves a challenge.

Great quick course
Played on a 100+ degree morning in late July. Course was still in great condition. Staff is super friendly, and no waiting around in the course. It’s short, like you’d expect. And great for a quick 18 while on vacation will definitely play again.
Great course
Par 58 so I get to use most of my clubs. The course is in great shape with lots of shade which is super important this time of year. Got a hole in one on hole 8. 98 yard over water and a fountain feature. Made me a happy camper.
Great course conditions
The fairways and greens are in great condition. For the price you can't beat this place. I always enjoy playing Date palm.
Great place to practice short game.
This place is in great condition. Plenty of mature trees to provide shade. Greens were punched in early June so they are in good shape. I like this place.

Good but
It was a great time and an absolutely beautiful course but if you can’t hit tight fairways and over water, stay away. I had a great time but they could’ve put the club members on the schedule so I didn’t have to wait behind two 4some of older people
