Date Palm Country Club
About
Nestled in Coachella Valley, Date Palm Country Club sits at the base of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountain ranges, providing nearly every hole on the golf course with a stunning view. The course is the centerpiece of a popular retirement community near Palm Springs, a location that enjoys nice weather year-round and is just 20 minutes from shopping, dining, and museums. The layout is on the shorter side, but it still has some challenging holes. The golf course demands accuracy with every contour of the rolling terrain and you'll be put to the test even further when maneuvering the small greens and narrow fairways. The bunkering is minimal but strategic at Date Palm C.C., and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice putting green.

My tee shot on the second hole. It was nice to get a birdie early. Photo submitted by Napawillie on 03/30/2015
Sweet little course!
One of the best executive courses that I’ve played. Nice tight fairways, lots of trees, good balance of water and bunkers, greens and fairways are in good shape. Pace of play was good, but that’s to be expected when the ambient temperature is 100 degrees.
Date Palm
The greens were in perfect condition. We had a good time and will be back again.
Excellent Experience
Great for senior with high handicap (15-20). Staff extraordinarily friendly and accommodating.
Great place for your short game
Awesome course for beginners and to practice your short game. Excellent condition and value
Par 3
It’s a fun executive course with 2 par 4s on each side. Greens are flat and sometimes small, but there are some which undulate. Good value. Great staff. Easy going course which is very well kept.
Another Terrific Monday
Our foursome has played DPCC several times this season. Every Monday I wake up excited to go and see the course conditions, enjoy the pace of play, converse with the friendly staff, and marvel at what a nugget this course is. We love DPCC!
Excellent Condition
Fun executive length with just enough trouble on a few holes to keep your interest.
Greens were very good, running smooth, not as fast as they look.
Fairways and tee boxes in very good condition.
Good value for what you get this time of year in the desert.
Overall, I actually really enjoyed my time. It is short, but that’s the type of course it is. Really nice and well-maintained. I definitely would come again
