About
Nestled in Coachella Valley, Date Palm Country Club sits at the base of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountain ranges, providing nearly every hole on the golf course with a stunning view. The course is the centerpiece of a popular retirement community near Palm Springs, a location that enjoys nice weather year-round and is just 20 minutes from shopping, dining, and museums. The layout is on the shorter side, but it still has some challenging holes. The golf course demands accuracy with every contour of the rolling terrain and you'll be put to the test even further when maneuvering the small greens and narrow fairways. The bunkering is minimal but strategic at Date Palm C.C., and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice putting green.

Challenging Water
Enjoy playing this course. It is a fun and challenging executive course with water on many of the par 3s. The fairways and greens are well taken care of and the trees add much needed shade on warm Palm Springs days. The course is good for beginners and seasoned golfers especially to work on the short game. We will return to this course in the future!
OVERBOOKED!
We have played this course for three years and have loved it. However, our experience today was a disappointment. We booked the hot deal as we always do. First problem: the course had no record of our booking. Second problem. We did not want to be paired up, and they told us we would have to wait a long time to tee off. We have booked the hot deal there for three years and have never had to pair up— especially at noon. Third problem: there were about 15 people in the clubhouse. The course was completely overbooked. We chose to eat the money and not play. Worst of all, the staff was NOT friendly and certainly were not experienced. Will not play there again for awhile.
Great executive length course
Enjoyed this course - great for intermediate players and very pretty scenery. Nice outdoor patio with a happy hour for a beverage after the game.
Great Short Course
Love playing here. The views are awesome! The greens are in very good condition.
Review
Definitely one of the best short courses in the area. Seen only one bunker that was unplayable. Great 18 hole executive course. Great shape too. I'll be playing there again for sure!
Fun Short Course
Some longer par 3's, but all short par 4's. A good course to work on your short game. Sand was very good. Greens are smooth, a little slow today, but overall in good condition.
A nice surprise
;After having played several other executive courses in the Palm Springs region, and having no expectation that Date Palm would be any or much different, I was pleasantly surprised. Instead of hitting PWs and 8 irons into the majority of holes at the other courses, the longer 3's on this course had me pulling out longer irons and some fairway metals previously left in the bag. A good mix of short and longer par 3s along with 4 short par 4s.
This is a really great par three course. The course has some challenging holes but is a great course for higher handicapped players, or for a couples to play. They have a nice little lounge, for an after round refreshments, or a snack.
Date Palm Golf
Excellent course with great staff couldn’t ask for anything better Highly recommend them
Nice place
Nice place, friendly staff and it is not busy. A bit close to some of the houses but other than that it's a nice track.
short game skills
This is a fine executive length course on which to sharpen your short game skills. It has smallish greens, so accuracy of the tee block is important, but getting up and down if you miss the green requires much finesse. A fun course for a group of disparate skill levels. Can be quickly played, if time is of an essence.
Slow Pace of Pkay
Pro Shop attendant was friendly and informative. Played the front nine in an hour and fifteen minutes. Back nine was much slower. Closer to read hours. We caught up to a twosome and two foursomes in front of us. No Marshall on the course to encourage speeding up pace of play.
