Nestled in Coachella Valley, Date Palm Country Club sits at the base of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountain ranges, providing nearly every hole on the golf course with a stunning view. The course is the centerpiece of a popular retirement community near Palm Springs, a location that enjoys nice weather year-round and is just 20 minutes from shopping, dining, and museums. The layout is on the shorter side, but it still has some challenging holes. The golf course demands accuracy with every contour of the rolling terrain and you'll be put to the test even further when maneuvering the small greens and narrow fairways. The bunkering is minimal but strategic at Date Palm C.C., and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. In addition to the golf course, there is a practice putting green.

Short game
My son and I wanted to work on our short game. This course was perfect, played up most shots to work on approach, chips and putts. There were A few challenging holes as well.
Course in great shape, pace is always a little slower because of all the par threes but expected as you have to wait for the group ahead to clear the greens.
Greatly improved
We’ve played this executive course over the last 3 or 4 winters. Don’t know if there has been a change in management or what, but we are now able to get tee times after 11:00, Pro shop staff very friendly, new carts. No gigantic piles of leaves to search through if you miss the fairway. Can’t wait to play again.
Underwhelming executive course
This course was overpriced for the layout. Attendant was not interested in greeting or sharing anything about the course. Warm balls not included with fees Underwhelming for the price.

This is a relaxing course to play with your friends. The course is in decent shape and the pace of play was good.
short course, in really good condition for an executive par 3. Tight. I just prefer big courses
