Best Golfing in the Central Valley!
Great course to play...it’s walkable if you want a little exercise! It’s in great shape! Plan a trip with your foursome to play here!
Long play but good course
Be ready to spend 4.5 hrs for a round and watch out for all the water fun course
Great course,great price,and great pace
Great course. Green all around. Greens paly soft and fast. Course is one of the best keep up courses. It might be aways from Fresn, but always worth the trip out. Pace is great no one rushing us,. Our group of two did catch up to two groups of four. But not much wait time. Another great round at pheasant run!!
Hidden Gem
Chowchilla Golf course is an exceptional place to play . Long fairways , mature trees, hills , water, bunkers all on this course. Hidden Gem in the Valley . Very well laid out course and nicely maintained. Try this course and you’ll like it .
Excellent Course
Awesome course, with great green fees. Greens were perfect, fairways are in good condition. Will play again, when I’m back in town.

Fast greens, slow play
For early March, these greens were impressive. The rolls were true and the surface was very receptive after a few days of rain. The course layout is brilliant overall, but the tees and fairways are in dire need of some TLC. Traffic on the course likely makes that difficult. More than half of the holes featured an extended wait on the box. Oh well, it was a beautiful day.
What happened?
The course is usually a great place,but today was different. It was less green and more brown (dry grass and more dirt).
Challenging
Course is in great shape however a couple of tee boxes need work.

Played 8-5-18
Course is in good overall condition, with a mix of green to brown summer fairways and lush tee boxes. They have let a bit of rough grow and it is short but definitely adds to the challenge on an already long and tough track. Greens were on the firm side and rolling medium fast. The heat has been brutal up here with almost 50 days of hundred plus temps and they have done an excellent job of keeping the greens smooth. Bunkers, as always, hit and miss.
