Pheasant Run Golf Course

True and fast greens, back nine some long par 4’s for a 15 handicapper, par is great on any hole. Very nice course, freindly staff, recommend for anyone who likes challenging golf.

Pheasant Run GC's shortest set of tees measures out over 5800 yards with a slope of 128 for women.

This makes the course very difficult for the average golfer and extremely difficult for srs.,jrs, and women.

In comparison, Dragonfly just down the road has 7 sets of tees starting at 4500 yards. The 2 times we played it , we also noticed everyone was playing the forward tees. NCGA along with Jack Nicholas's play it forward

initiative endorses have multiple tee boxes so players can select tee boxes which match up with their driving distance and skill level. This in turn attracts people to golf. When I commented this to the pro shop, their smart retort was "what is the course too long for your wife" as if we should be playing elsewhere. Guess what, we will play elsewhere and since I was scouting for our large RV group to come down, we`ll also make it a point not to play here as they appear not to like seniors and women.

Greens were spectacular. Smooth and fast.

Bunkers; long the sore spot on this course appear to have had sand added at least to the greenside bunkers.

Very nice place but there is no shade . Best time to play is first thing in the morning or it is too hot. And there jugs of water spread out are usually empty as well as the ballwashers

The course needed maintenance. The grass on the fairways was long and also the tee boxes. The green were ok.

It's a very beautiful and well maintained golf course with very friendly staffs and reasonable green fees..

The course was in great shape, the staff is #1 great day out. I treated myself to a birthday golf day, great time

Never disappointed when we play here. The course is always in tip top shape. Fairways always cut and kept up nicely around greens. Long course from the blues but challenging. Awesome staff especially the pro Mr Costa.

Good course and nice layout. Has some risk reward shots. Pace of play was great, played the course in 3 hrs and 15 mins and shot an 82

Great course north of Fresno. A friendly staff and the course regulars made me feel welcomed right away. The fairways and greens are in good to great condition. There's enough water to make anyone nervous. The pace of play could have been a little bit quicker for a mid-week t-time. All in all, I will see this course again.

Tees fairways and rough all are green and have good coverage with no areas of severe damage

Greens are healed from aeration, rolling smooth and medium to fast

Bunkers stink, hard and/or wet, this is always an issue here and I'm not quite sure why they can't figure it out when everything else is so nice.

Haven't played this course in 8 months but very impressed with condition. Don't yet 6400 yard course foll you I plated from blues and course provided all the challenge you need, par fours long from blue/black tees, water challenges that are forging on lots of holes, greens will hold good shots at flags. I thought this course played great with perfect amount challenges and fair play to score low numbers..

This was the first time playing at this course. The overall experience was fantastic. The staff was friendly, the food was great, and the course was amazing. I am really happy with this course and I am definitely coming back.

Love playing this course, everyone at the club house and restaurant are always very professional and give great customer service.
