Usually not worth it but current conditions are great!
If you can get a hot deal or other discounted green fee then now is the time to play Diablo creek. Greens are moving and feel true, fairways and tee boxes are lush.
Layout is still uninspired, but the back 9 offers some tight fairways and longer approaches for a decent challenge.
Solid conditions right now, actually worth it
Usually not worth the money but with more daylight and cheaper rates it’s worth it now, conditions are good.
Nice round if you can get a good price - flat course though
uninteresting layout for the most part, although a few tight fairways and tree lines on the back nine could get you into trouble. Length is always a factor so challenge is there.
good test for those trying to hone their game for length while allowing for some errant shots... low slope gives you some relief
don't come here for a special round or impressive views...
Good condition right now!
Greens rolled true and we’re pretty quick. Grass was looking nice in most fairways and around greens.
Only complaint was our cart wasn’t equipped with sand/seed mix so we couldn’t fill divots...
Better than I remembered but not worth the regular price
staff at checkin wasn’t exactly creating a relaxed and welcoming environment, but mostly my problem with this course is simply that it isn’t as exciting or memorable as I feel it should be for the price. Flat muni type course, albeit long and technically difficult. Conditions weren’t bad although greens were pretty slow despite generally dry weather. Won’t go back unless I’m getting a discount.

I would like to make Diablo Creek my home golf course!
Very well maintained, great beginner friendly layout, friendly staff and golfers.
Easy to walk (flat) and relatively easy to find your ball.
Low key friendly atmosphere, good food, and excellent Sri in range and putting green

I enjoyed my 25 percent off on hot deal from golf now. Unfortunately at the same time Diablo Creek would've been cheaper to pay direct. It happens to the best of us.
Superbowl Sunday
Typically this course is overbooked. It was awesome to play 18 holes in four hours on Super Bowl Sunday.
A lot of the thin spots in the fairways were aerated, seeded and marked as GUR. Do the maintenance now and hope it rains soon. The greens were firm and in good shape and speed.
Course pace is slower than the one person we all hate and yet at that’s on the left lane on the highway...
Let’s start off with the positives. The course is gorgeous and well maintained and if you get a cart (which you shouldn’t cause the course is flat) it’s one of the nice fast ones.... but that’s it for positives... the pace of the course is extremely slow.... when I say this I mean it. We played 3 holes in an hour and a half and waiting on every single shot. They overbook this place at 8 minute spacing... I wish I took a photo but on hole 4 there was about 6 groups waiting to tee off... and the rest of the day kept like that... if it wasn’t for people getting angry and leaving it would’ve been an 8 hour 18-holes... only way I’ll come back is if it’s raining and at 6 am when there’s no one on it....
