Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - West

never played a golf course where as soon as you ball rolls off the fairway, its in two inch or more rough!

Need to mow a 1st cut & second cut. Then if you hit your shot even worse, then make it as deep as your want.

If you can do that, then I would give the course 5 stars.

The course overall was in good shape. The sand needs work and the greens were slightly bumpy.

I made my reservation on GolfNow App, and only owed $20 due at the golf course, when I got there to play I got charged $40 off my credit card, so $20 I owed for the tee time plus $10 deposit for the cart, should have been $30 so they owed me $10. I talked to the person there and all they did is got my information, name and phone number on a piece of paper and said the manager would call me the next day, after a week he has never called. I don’t want to fight his too much because is only $10. But the action of doing that and not doing anything to fix it is what matters. Just be careful when you pay. Also want to say I have the emails and bank transaction, and everything to prove what I said.

golf shop employee notified me that the greens had been punched a week earlier and that the green fee would be LESS than what golfnow had advertised. He could have easily just charged me the regular rate that i booked with golfnow who did NOT mention the aerification conditions. Awesome job by the golf shop staff to charge me the correct amount... conditions were good otherwise

The rough was too tall and thick. I lost three balls on the first nine! One drive went straight down the middle and it disappeared. There were very few level lies in the fairway. I didn’t like this course because too many holes were designed to hurt the player. Also, my friend and I were treated very poorly when we attempted to get our cart deposit back. The young lady with yellow dyed hair and giant eyelashes had a terrible attitude and questioned whether my friend had paid the deposit. She was very rude to me when I spoke nicely to her. I will not return to this course, but I might try the east course, as it looks much more playable.

The course generally was in good shape but the greens had recently been punched so they terrible.. But to the defense of the staff, they offered to move us to the East course but at a later tee time which didn't work for us. The was a couple of areas where there were no signs to direct you to the next hole

Second cut just off fairways is way to long. Can't find balls

This course rewards staying in the fairway. 1st cut can be deep. Small greens, but well maintained.

Overall, for early spring, the course was in good shape. Most of the rough was mowed, not much problem finding balls. Greens were fast but a little bumpy

I enjoyed the West course, which is much more favorable to my 22 handicap than the East course (e.g., it ate me alive). Definitely play it. Last comment. The East course is wonderful for a good golfer (12 & under handicaper), but more difficult and not much fun for me to play.
