Blue Rock Springs Golf Course - East

This course has tremendous elevations and tests you at every hole. Greens are decently maintained and are challenging. Pace of play was great as well. Bunkers are almost barron which is a drag. Ball washing stations are in horrible state, many of those have no water and those that do have dirty water. It should not cost a ton to refill those with clean water. Overall bang for your buck but I would not mind paying few more dollars for clean washing units and some sand in the bunkers

Blue Rock Golf Course is a fun and challenging course that I’d still recommend, especially if you enjoy elevation changes and scenic views. My previous visit was closer to a 4–4.5-star experience, but this time I’d rate it a 3.5 due to the course conditions. The greens and tee boxes didn’t appear to be freshly cut, although that may be the course’s standard, and the bunkers had quite a few rocks and were a little too wet. That said, the pace of play was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout the day. As someone who’s not from California and isn’t used to playing hilly courses, I enjoyed the challenge and had a great time. With a little attention to course maintenance, this course could easily return to being a 4+ star experience. I’ll definitely be back to play again.

I love this place, it has two 18 hole courses with pretty nice forgiving greens and fairways and for the price you can’t beat it! The bunkers need a good fluff and the rough is so thick it can be hard to find your ball unless you hit all the fairways or know your distances really good on mishits. Overall it’s a great course with awesome staff who work very hard to keep it nice. I think the price makes it even better, you are looking at a $40-$75 round at a nice place with your choice of which course to play. Both are a good challenge so give it a go!

Great value, course and pace! My only complaint is that they get you for $10 for key deposit & if u forget to turn it in they keep additional $$

The fairways are too narrow and the rough needs to be cut. The greens are also too slow.

Had an enjoyable day . The topography and views are very pretty. The staff is friendly.

GolfNow pricing made it affordable. Wish normal senior pricing was a little less.

Possible improvements: The greens are only OK. Perhaps some circular fungi going on ?

The tee box markers were too close together - making it difficult to find a smooth spot. The fairways in very good shape - keep up the good work.

Nestled in the hills of Vallejo. The East course is very hilly with some narrow fairways and a good amount of water features. Beautiful nature and some spctacular views. A really fun but challenging course to play.

The greens were very bumpy and the sand traps were either hard, wet or had puddles. The rough was very thick and long. Fairways were in fairly good condition.

They had just sanded the greens, rest of the course was in great condition
