Blackberry Farm Golf Course

About
Situated along the banks of Stevens Creek, Blackberry Farm Golf Club in Cupertino has a scenic and tranquil setting amongst forests of mature trees. The layout features narrow fairways lined with trees and small, gently undulating greens. Accuracy is essential for scoring well on this golf course, especially since there are come subtle but tricky elevation changes to contend with. Even though it's a nine-hole course with only par 3s and par 4s, it still offers a great opportunity to improve your short game skills. There is a large lake that provides the occasional water hazard and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The holes have interesting designs that will force even advanced golfers to carefully strategize. Blackberry Farm provides an excellent round of practice for an affordable price.

A Great Course For Taking A Beginning Golfer
This course requires hitting your tee shots and fairway iron shots straight. It is a pretty course. It is great course for your friends who are beginning golfers to play. It is only 9 holes and 1410 yards from the red tees. I think your beginning golfer friends will like it while you practice hitting your fairway irons. There weren't any serious delays today with slow foursomes ahead of us. We played 9 holes in about an hour and 15 minutes. It was a great time. There was an occasional cool breeze blowing through the canyon, but it was hot on 7/27 in that part of Cupertino.
Starter Course
Nice little course for the starters, which of course the majority of the people out there were just that. I see that the city of Cupertino is looking at closing the course, hope that they don't do that as this is the perfect place for beginners to have fun and not be pushed. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend as my friends are seasoned golfers. I played this course because I like playing different courses.
Good conditions, very tight.
Tee time was kind of hectic. They freestyled and sent out people earlier or later than their time. Keep your head up, the fairways are tight and people are hitting into your fairway multiple times a round. Greens are small, but very nice. Id park towards the clubhouse since hole 9 ends and 10 yards further is the parking lot. Would be nice if they had a snack shack. I’d play again for a casual 9 hole round.
Nice little course for a quick 9-hole session
Played here with my buddy and got paired up with another twosome. Great guys, nice weather, good course for beginners like us. Challenging but manageable. Fairways are tight and greens are small and crowned thus the challenge! Course was a good shape. Had a great time.
Pleasant afternoon at Blackberry
Nice 9 hole course. Several par-3's are over 170 yards so a good opportunity to practice longer irons. The greens are a bit slow.
Good for short game
Good short game course. Only disappointing issue was hole #7 was closed for repairs with no instructions to play next, We played hole #4 again and then crossed over to hole #8,
Like Always, You need to hit the ball straight at Blackberry Farms
I always enjoy playing Blackberry Farm with my wife, who is a beginning golfer. There was some repair / maintenance going on near the tee box of Hole #7, making that hole just a100-yard Par 3 on Friday. Overall, the course was in great shape. The play was a little slower than usual, due to a very slow twosome that was two groups ahead, but we just relaxed and accepted that the play would be a little slower than usual. It was a beautiful morning and afternoon for golf. This course is a great length for beginners. For experienced golfers, the challenge is to always hit the ball straight (or you will bogey or double bogey.) This is a great course for practicing your iron play.
OK course but rude other players
The course has average conditions. The rainy weather has improved the fairway conditions, and management is repairing a couple of damaged tee boxes, but the fairways are still a little bare in places. The real issue is the _fivesome_ that we were trapped behind and a rude single behind us. Said fivesome dawdled at tee-off, and played balls that had landed on _adjoining_ fairways. Meanwhile, the single behind us tee off against us presumably to beat sundown, and nearly hit each of the three of us. Go elsewhere if you can.
Great Play as always
Even after gusty wind and rain, the fairway was well maintained and the greens were very well manicured. I felt the pace of play was relaxed and the layout is moderate to play. People on the course have been very friendly and quick to locate my ball that has landed on their fairway for me. Overall, I really like this course and can easily find 1.5 hours to play.
Great nine holes
The main thing that stuck out for me was the outstanding customer service we received from the young gentleman working the club house. It is refreshing to see the next generation has a few good men with the professionalism that seams to be lacking these days in most industries. The pace of play was excellent and overall a good golf course for all levels of play.
