Had a great time. It is a very long course, but it is well worth it.
Challenging course
Played this private course for the first time. The greens were in great shape and extremely fast, but the course as a whole wasn't in the greatest shape, especially for a private course. Part of that could be due to winter.
However, the way the course is designed made it very challenging and fun. Great layout and nice staff, just expected more from a private club that is costing me $85 a round.
Great Day of Golf
The staff was very friendly and the course was great! The greens and tee boxes were excellent and the fairways were well maintained for winter.
Madera CC is Great
I’ve played Madera CC many times & I always enjoy it. It’s winter time & the course has dormant Bermuda fairways which are not the best but the greens are superb! I really like playing Madera CC.

Fast greens and great bunkers for a player of my low caliber.
Definitely not a country club in any sense
The conditions were bad, even though it was winter time, too many dog left and rights, definitely not a country club in my opinion
Madera CC
Although private, GN will have a great price to play a course that is not difficult to navigate from box to green, but you better be an outstanding putter. Their greens are fast and tricky. Bunkers are well groomed as well. No water to worry about, but your sight line is challenged with rolling hills and doglegs.

Course was very good for Central Valley weather greens were in excellent condition pace of play started slow but picked up after we passed up the group in front of us. Overall great day out, I would recommend this course
Enjoyable Day, Nice Course
Drove down from Sacramento to play a different course and get out of the rain. This is a pretty nice course. The sand traps had sand, the greens were in great shape and the fairways were not bad, could use a little work but very playable. I really enjoyed the layout. Some holes were tight and some were wide open where you could launch one. I gave the off course amenities 4 stars because I only had a drink but one of the members I talked to said the food is good. I would like to say that the employees were so nice as were some of the members I talked to on the course as well as inside the restaurant. I definitely recommend this course as I will go back and play it again.
I would like to say that I gave it an overall rating of excellent because I think anyone playing this course would really enjoy it plus everything else I said about the members and employees, this makes it excellent.

A rather warm afternoon but good fun. Keep away from the rough for best results. Course is in great shape and super friendly staff.
