First visit
First time out here. Staff was so fabulous. Being a bit warm taking shelter in the shade of the trees was nice. Course is in great shape. One bit of advice, keep it in the fairway. Booked again, it's that much fun!
Staff was very kindness. My wife and me enjoyed play golf here Madera golf. I worried hot wether 94F , but good cool breezing. I did’nt feel hot. L drove 31/2 hours there . It was worth play,
course was amazing. I ended up signing up for membership.
New visitor
First time visitor and what a great venue. Staff super friendly and great support. Course is interesting and in great shape. Stay out of the rough for best results.

Travelers Beware
Booked a round for two a day in advance. Made an hr. and 15 minute drive to the course the following morning and at check in was advised that they forgot to “blackout” golf now reservations because of a scheduled tournament. Told that they expected 60 participants but ended up with about 90 and that ALL their carts were in use. We putted on the practice greens for about 30 minutes before overhearing from course management that they wouldn’t let anybody on the course until all the players finished up. In total there were about a dozen people along with us waiting around for carts and an hour plus delay on all start times. Clubhouse staff should have contacted the ones who booked thru this app and turned us away saving people the hassle and wasted travel. Just disappointed in the lack of communication and ability to manage the situation.

Fun Layout
This might be my new favorite course in the Central Valley. The design is fun and can play tricks on you visually. Has some doglegs, elevation changes and blind tee shots. Once you've been around the track a few times, it becomes much easier and you know where your targets should be. Greens are very receptive. Be careful if you spin the ball a lot. Had more than a few approach shots land near the pin and end up miles away from the hole.
First class course
At 112 degrees a little hit for an Ohio guy but course had plenty of shade and water to drink. Everyone we met was very polite and welcoming. Course itself is fairly tough with tight fairways and doglegs galore. Par 3s were a little long with 3 at or over 200 yards. I would definitely recommend playing here and if living nearby consider a membership!
Always a good time at MCC
Madera CC is always a fun place to be. Semi private course that allows non members to play after 12PM. Greens are in great condition right now, they roll FAST and true, the whole course is in good condition right now given the crazy hot temperatures lately. Pro Shop staff is always friendly. Course always plays pretty fast and everyone that plays seems to be very friendly.
