Good high season golf value
Great value. Good staff. 3.5 hour round. Most fairways needed work as did a few greens. Would play again.
Great course for the price.
Great course for the price. I’ve played here twice now and enjoyed both times had no groups in front or behind for a while. The course is well maintained even for the winter, the greens are very well kept. Course is fairly easy especially if your course management is decent. Most holes aren’t overly long and don’t require driver. Overall great course for the price. Especially twilight.

Better green care shows
Played last week where I liked the course layout but hated the slow greens. Glad I played again as the greens we mowed and much better. Early morning tee time played course in under 3.5 hours. I will be back. Good value for money.

Some drunk players and no course Marshal
Course was ok, greens were decent but fairways were really mixed. No course Marshal to move groups along or evict them as one group was drunk and another group was ridiculously slow as they had balls on three different fairways half the time and just drove out onto other fairway to hit their ball even when we were hitting. Crazy bad etiquette

Good for beginners
Short course with good greens and few obstacles makes it a great place for beginner golfers

Good value
Tee boxes and greens in excellent shape. Fairways need work. Clubhouse under major renovations. Will be very nice course once all work done. Good value at this time.

It’s been better
We always enjoy Shadow Mountain. The course is fun to play and a great value. This year the fairways are really sparse and not as lush as in past years, and the greens were a little bumpy. Nevertheless, we had fun playing the course and, as always, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They’re doing a lot of nice work improving the amenities at Shadow Mountain and I expect the course conditions will improve as these projects are completed.

Club rentals really bad
Course itself was in Ok conditions. The club rental was bargain basement Walmart at best. No tees or balls included.. Would not return.

Shadow Mountain Golf Course Needs Work
I was anxious to play at Shadow Mountain for the first time. With golf prices escalating in the greater Palm Spings area, the price on GolfNow was reasonable and on UnderPar very affordable. I was very disappointed. The course was in terrible shape. Unfortunately. fairways were patchy grass and dirt. Pace of play, while heralded as 3.5 hours, was very slow. Waiting time at every tee box was 5-15 min and similar for approach shots. I was told there are many beginners who come to this course, which contributed to the slow pace. If you are not a patient golfer,, this course is not for you. The best part of the course is the sand traps. They were well-maintained with a perfect amount of sand. Moral of the story, there are many good courses in Palm Springs. This is not one of them.

Older Course But In Great Shape
It was windy and not crowded at all. Staff is always helpful.

Rough
Course is in rough shape overall, greens were pretty good shape. Not a great design. On the upside staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and it is a good place to have a beer and food from outdoor bbq. Very Palm Springs atmosphere which is fun with a huge putting course that is fun
