Front 9, under repairs, back 9 BEAUTIFUL
We were told that this course was still under repairs, it was evident on the front 9. As soon as we transitioned to the back 9, it was amazing! The course was relatively flat with some pockets to some mounts here and there. Tee off on this hole with the amazing mountain view with palm trees. Overall experience was still great, the greens were pristine. Ladies toilet was kept clean and staff opened it for me to use instead of the porta-potty. My friend left his cell phone and staff came to our car to give it back.

Lots of construction going on
Course is just ok
Old school layout. Slow greens lots of tractors on course. Staff was friendly played with 3 great guys which was nice. Won't pay 85 bucks again. Maybe 40
This is a great target golf course. We were the last people to play before it was closed for seasonal maintenance so the condition was understandably not good. We have played here many times and truly enjoyed it. The new owners seem to be trying very hard to improve all aspects but maintain the original integrity of the course. Try it…..you’ll have fun.

Unmaintained
I have been playing golf during summer in the Coachella Valley for over 20 years. Shadow Mountain is the worse course conditions I have ever seen. I understand that golf courses have to keep the grass on the greens longer to protect them in the summer, but some of the greens hadn't been mowed in weeks. It was the same issue with the fairways. They were basically rough and hadn't been mowed in weeks either. The bunkers have not been maintained in months. The course is a complete disaster and way over priced at $30 per round. Stay away!

Just barely okay
Really bad course layout as well as hole layout. Short course with very unforgiving fairways. It’s set up as a beginner course but if you’re a beginner I’d recommend going to a course that has more forgiveness

Staff is so attentive

A step back in Time
The staff are so friendly, they really make you feel welcome. The greens are on the slow side and you really dont want to go off the fairway as the longer grass make it difficult to find your ball. Of course, that makes the course more challenging. The summer prices are excellent value for your money.

Sandy greens
Middle of summer deal and hot helps this rating for the course is tight and challenging this course demands respect and the staff is very pleasant a small warning that the greens are not mowed or a bit slow do to recent sanding or just a heads up would have been proper. Ultimately reminds me to always ask conditions when unfamiliar or visiting.
