Good for the money

May be a short track, but there are plenty of Palm trees that border most of the fairways making this a tight little gem. The cost of golf in Palm Springs has risen significantly making this course a viable option. The tee boxes were a bit on the rough side, but overall, the course was in good condition. Greens were slower than in the past. Will be coming back again as the other courses are too expensive for what they offer.

Nice old school public course

Classic old Palm Desert course. Overall shorter length with tight layout. Even so, fairways reasonable width and give you a fair target off the tee. Good course for novices which means pace of play was slow if you get behind wrong group. Classic bungalow style homes line fairways which adds charm to the experience. Staff very pleasant and course in great condition. Overall nice setting for laid back unhurried round of golf. Highly recommend if that’s what you are looking for.

this course is OLD

Layout is odd, greens and pace of play are slow ,if you are newer to the game or at the end of your game then play here, otherwise stick to one of the many real courses in this area

Just okay

Greens had mixed grass and a little difficult to judge. I knew it was a short course going in, and it’s good distance for non-Bryson types. Fairways were in good shape and not too heavily treed. It was an okay day for the price.

Friendly staff but needs Marshall

Nice older course but maintained well. Great scenery and super friendly staff. Only concern was pace of play. Short course and almost 5 hours, with lots of waiting - that didn't need to be - foursome ahead of us had 2-1/2 empty holes ahead of them by 15th

Poor communications

We had a 2:15 tee time, which should have allowed plenty of time before sunset to finish the round. The course does not have marshals, which adds to the slow pace of play.

Yesterday as we were about to tee off on the back nine the cart manager informed us that all carts were to be returned by 6:30, about 30 minutes before sunset!

No one, from the pro shop, starter or even Golf Now, alerted us to this requirement!

When you pay to play 18 holes, you expect to to be able to finish the round.
