Save your money . This course is really in bad condition

Pico used to be that reliable course with a quick clean lay out, quick pace of play and was inexpensive. I’ve heard the course is being sold and the city took over the course, not sure if that’s true but the course really has gotten horrible. Holes 1, 8, and 9 look good because they’re visible while walking to the pro shop but the rest of the holes are trash! Hole 3 had geese, their poop and dry areas all over the green. The rest of the holes were similar. This course is not worth $20. Unless I was offered to play here free, I would not return or recommend anyone play here.

To charge any type of monetary amount for this course is robbery.

They don’t even have greens. Well they have 2 greens. The 1st hole and the last hole. But don’t be fooled, those are the only greens visible from the club house so they try to keep those maintained to give you an illusion. But even then, those “greens” of you can even call them that, are still in horrible condition.

The pace of play here on a Saturday am was the worst I’ve ever seen. After playing hole 1, I waited 45 minutes to play hole 2. I gave up. I asked for a refund and was denied this. Will not go back. Golf now app was not helpful bc it seemed like there would be nobody there, with completely available tee times for the entire hour. Yet it was full of people. Wouldn’t go here unless you’re not ready for anything more than a par 3 course yet.

Overall bad experience:

1. Pace of play it took us over 3 hours to finish 9holes due to the course being backed up. At one point there were 5 groups all waiting in the same hole.

2. Course conditions are not maintained and greens are the worse I’ve ever played in

The course is in bad shape all the greens looked like temporary greens

If you’re going to get this course open put some work into it needs more then

Cutting the grass

I have been playing this course for years and have never seen it in this condition

Needed some place to golf for cheap on Father’s Day. This place doesn’t disappoint because the prices are always the same, regardless of the day. Nowhere near a good quality course but for a bunch of beginners who lose about 4 sleeves of balls in a single round, I can’t complain.

Best course to get your 9 hole fix in less than 1.5 hours. Clubhouse is a blast. Best bartenders and staff is always great.

Arrived at about 9:00 am on a Saturday-tee off at 9:40. Asked to get a bucket of balls--they didn't have any. Asked for a scorecard--they didn't have any. Won't be back to this place.

Fun to watch animals while playing

Enjoyed the pressure of water at the end of the course!

dont waste your time or money on this ant hill of a course

YEARS BACK... THIS LITTLE GEM WAS A NICE LITTLE 9 HOLE WITH 2 PAR 4s and some nice par 3s. great scenery and overall GEM

fast forward to 2023... all par 4s are gone and the make shift holes turned out to be laughable not to mention kinda dangerous.

dont waste money or time here.

Looks like pico investing money into this course great course renovations looking better cleaner greens.
