No notice of only nine holes open
We enjoy this course. The staff is great! Very friendly! It’s a good and fun track.
However, Golf Now did not tell us that only nine holes were open. And the course is in the middle of aeration.
We would not have booked there for only nine holes.
Very bad relations on the part of Golf Now! I expect better from them!

Nice course. Excellent staff.
Love the right fairways on the front nine. The greens looked spotty , but rolled true. Good speed. Joel was Mr everyone. He did a fantastic job with a smile. Only drawback was the restaurant was closed.

Our round was 5 1/2 hours. No rangers in sight. Course is a back n forth, flat and quite boring. Still had a great time but won't be back.

Great Place to Play!
This was our sixth time to play Desert Island and we have never had a bad experience. The course is in great shape, greens are holding and great speed on the putts. Great service both in the pro shop and at the grill. Although we live in PGA West, La Quinta, Desert Island is one of our "go to" courses.

Old school with some challenges
Ignore one star rating, reviewer either was playing a different course or was on his period, above average condition, greens a little slow but had been aeriated recently., you will remember 9 and 18

Good Track
Overall the golf experience was good. Course was in really good shape except the greens were pretty darn slow. Really had to bang it. Pace of play was two different stories. Front 9 in 2 hrs and the back 9 in 3 hrs. I would definitely come give it a try again.
