Desert Island Country Club

Course is in excellent condition. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nice layout with several very interesting holes. Highly recommend.

Course lay out is flat, condition good but not for $150.

Overall the course was in okay condition. A lot of the greens though, were very beat up. It was like a hundred players before us never fixed a ball mark and obviously the green keepers didn't either. Won't be back anytime soon

Greens are punch mark growing in…like putting on a pokka dot mogul field. Thankfully got a deal…barely. After round, 3:30pm kitchen already closed and bar closing…so no apres, despite a seemingly decent vibe at the course.

You can find a lot of great golf courses in Palm Desert but you will not find one that has the caliber of staff that Desert Island has!!

Guest services, pro shop, starter and serving staff are all amazing. Shout out to Lorenzo who always greets us like a member and Alan who starts off your round with a smile and a good laugh.....our favorite!!

The course is always fun to play. The greens are coming back. The fairways were in good shape. The pay of play was really nice. Got done right about four hours. The only thing I had to say was why isn’t there a cart person when the course is very Crowded.. I called a few times trying to order something to pick up at the turn, but nobody picked up the phone and nobody called me back.

Desert Island is truly a gem of a course. Beautifully maintained and plenty of challenge from your tee of choice. Pace was excellent.

Not an easy course but not unfair. Accuracy off tee is required. Very well maintained. Greens roll true but not too fast.

Course was immaculate. Very pleasing to the eye.

We were informed that the bar and kitchen were closed for a wedding. However, drinks and snacks were available on the course. We saw the cart lady on the fourth hole and then never again. Disappointing when you’re paying $175/round.

Beautiful course, terrific people, impeccably conditioned course, warm and sunny day. A delightful 4 hours.

Played a mid-day round at Desert Island on a Friday. Greens were bumpy, and the group of bros in front of us hit two tee shots on every other hole, so we had to wait on almost every shot. Never saw a marshall on course. Kitchen closed for a private event on day of play. No sandwiches left in pro shop at the turn or available on course. Staff was courteous and professional but there are much better courses in the Coachella Valley for the price.

Great condition

The staff were excellent. My wife was given a putting tip from the starter and she putted great. The course was in very good shape. Greens were excellent fairways and tee boxes in very good condition. We will be back. Thank you DI.

Course was in decent shape for this time of year. Greens were slow but smooth. Fairways were perfect. Traps were horrible. No water on course. No beer cart. No ball washers. But still a lot of fun.
