Desert Island Country Club

Course will be fun as it continues to get love from the hoa course owners who've taken over from former owners. In time it will be a good track. It's a good time if you're looking for a round in the desert. Very impressed at the pace of play. It was a Saturday afternoon; there was a shotgun tournament on course. Teed off at 12 and done at 4:15. Staff did a great job moving the play along. Greatly appreciated.

Staff is great, course really good, greens still getting in shape for winter. Highly recommend playing there

The course is in excellent condition and we played at 8:10a and never had anyone behind us or in front of us. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Very friendly staff, can’t wait to play again!

Great course. The greens can look bare on some holes, but I expect them to be in better shape through the winter. Nonetheless, they weren't too slow, rolled smoothly and posed a good challenge. The fairways and tee boxes are in excellent shape. 4+ stars on golfnow is well deserved.

Always loved this course until this year.

We found the fairways cut so short that you couldn’t hit a ball cleanly. You always had mud on the face of irons on the fairways which is strange even our fairway woods were taking large divots. A bit higher grass cut would have been preferable for sure (the fairways should be longer cut than greens)

Also the price has crept up to a fairly pricy cost at well over $100 a round they should have garbage cans on the tee boxes and maybe even gps on the carts.

The bar/restaurant at the turn makes a mean hotdog but again 3 michaeda’s and 3 hotdogs was $70! What?!?

For these reasons we will play cheaper courses with similar awesome layouts and gps on carts.

I had the first tee time of the day so pace of play was not an issue (not sure how it was throughout the day). Super friendly and helpful staff throughout the course. Nice range with provided balls made the round and overall experience really nice. Played white tees and it was a good challenge. They offer a variety of tee boxes to vary the challenge depending on the players skills.

Next time I visit the area will not hesitate to go back to this course. Cannot recommend this place enough!

First time here, played with another group that had played it prior, so had some inside knowledge as to where to play. Loved the layout and course design. Staff was friendly, starter was awesome, no drink cart out. Course was in really good shape-only a few greens were thin; grass is coming in but could see dirt/mud. Would 100% come back and play again.

Informative and friendly. Course was overall in good shape. Fairways and tee boxes great shape. Greens ran quite true but had inconsistent speed. I thought it was because the day was warming but they were just a bit inconsistent.

Would come back.
