Exceptional conditioning and enjoyable round
Went out as a single and was joined by three guys from Missouri. Beautiful afternoon in Palm Desert, and enjoyed.The golf. The course has three or four really nice holes, including the island fairway.

Fun morning at Desert Island
Teed off at 7:30 on a Friday morning and played in 3 hours. Overseeded course was in great shape. Staff from bag drop, pro shop to starter all were very friendly and helpful. Offered a free cup of coffee to start my morning. No complaints and a pretty fair price for Palm Springs

Very Nice; Thursdays the Driving Range is closed
Course in very good condition. I booked round on Thursday only to discover Thursdays the driving range is closed for maintenance. I wish this was posted somewhere as it did affect the first several holes for our swings.
Staff is just outstanding.

Course just fertilized try later
This is a nice course and in great shape. However, there was fertilizer all over the course fairways and tee boxes. There was no way to clean your clubs and balls. No ball washers on cart or tee boxes. Clubs collected fertilzer on club faces. Shoes, pants and socks covered with fertilizer granuels and dust. Ruined some of our clothes and can't wash out of clothing or golf gloves and hat. Really made for a disapointng round with lasting effects.

Nice Old School Layout
First time to play DI. Has the feel of stepping back in time to an old school layout. The course is not long or overly demanding. The course is good for all level of player. Approaches are open allowing balls to run up onto the greens. The course conditions were very good. The over seed was good. The greens had some undulation but very playable. I would probably play this course again. For the better player move back to the blue tee and play the course at that distance.

Awesome Course
I still enjoy playing this course. It’s a sleeper. Really not crowded and excellent condition and the staff was just amazing. They couldn’t do enough to make your round enjoyable. I wish I lived closer, but I definitely will play there again and again.
