Desert Island Country Club

First time playing there. Nice flat easy course, good for warmup round. Buildings and amenities are dated and relatively nonexistent. But the course was good and good value. Only complaint was the group ahead of me were slugs, thought they were only group on the course. And they were terrible golfers. To boot. I started at noon and couldn’t finish 18 due to group in front. No Marshall’s present to make groups keep pace. I guess my other complaint is the on course tiki hut closed about 2:30, I mean come on, at $15 per drink??

Fairway grass like a carpet but the green are little slow . Overall are very good course. Simple and fun. And the price is reasonable. I highly recommended this course to everyone if you visit the desert .

I visit the Palm Dessert area at least one a year and try to play at least one new course each time. this was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had in quite some time, I was a single and paired up with 3 guys who made the round a lot of fun. The course was Great value, in good shape and a nice layout. The staff was friendly and attentive from the time I pulled up and dropped my bag off to the moment I left. I will definitely play here again

We really enjoyed the course. Good for all abilities. Greens were very slow that day, which they say is unusual. Will go back.

Enjoyed our round on a cool and cloudy day. Greens in excellent nick. Only complain is that sand bottles on cart were empty, couldn’t repair divots. Course management needs to address this if they want course conditions maintained to a high standard.

The conditions were stellar and the club feel really came through from the staff. A very pleasant experience. Not as much water as I feared.

Greens were a tad slow (which I like) so it played a bit easy but the staff discussed their plans to gradually dipped them up.

Will play there again when I’m back next year.

Not long, but trees and water come into play on many holes.

The greens were a little slow, but that was a good thing. As some of the smaller greens are very undulated.
