Desert Island Country Club

For a hacker like me this was a good course. Tree lined fairways and plenty of water made it harder than I'm used to but the fairways were pretty generous. Perfect fairways tees and greens. Good practice facility with no charge for range balls with a reservation. Excellent service. Recommended.

Fairway were excellent condition but green were a little slow today. Compare to two weeks ago. We had to waited every holes but we finished 4 hours 30 minutes which was normal at most public course . So enjoyed to playing golf here which had some challenge holes too ( 9 and 18 hole ) . We are looking forward to play here again . We highly recommend this course.

I always enjoy my time at the Island. Great. People, great service and fun course.

Classic Palm Springs layout without houses lining the fairways! Conditions were prime, pace of play was prime, food was prime, what else could you want?

Old time course, up and back layout, playable for all levels . We played in a 2 -3 club wind that made some holes very difficult… but down wind I loved the par 5s

The price they charge for this course makes it a very good deal compared to lesser courses

Greens are quick and roll true. Seems like 3 breaks to every put. Greens don’t hold well. Lots of water and hazards. You gotta be straight. Fairways and tees in tip shape. Fast rate of play. Never waited on the shot and let this zippy twosome of the ladies play through our twosome. Pricey.
