Canyon Crest Country Club

First time playing here. Nice fun course. Great pace of play. Very friendly staff. Recommend

Besides the 12th hole still being shut down from a long par 4 to a par 3, the course seems to be in good shape. It was a slow round, waiting on almost every shot. The greens are tricky and the wind was howling so this probably added to how slow it was playing. I don’t think the course is quite worth $90 on a Friday, but I also think all of golf is so over priced lately.

When we drove into the parking lot we were greeted by Chase who brought us a cart, Loaded our bags and gave us a brief description of the course. The course was in great shape except for one hole which was damaged by flooding. Other than that the fairways and greens were great. Played 18 in 3.5 hours. Will definitely recommend and return.

Enjoyed the round, greens were in great condition. Challenging course.

Pace was ok and block spot on course. Need big mirror and sign for direction.

The back 9 was very slow. At one time there were 4 groups waiting to tee off on hole 16. It was late in the day and all staff had left so no one available to speed up slow players

Canyon Crest Country Club got pounded by the recent heavy rains, so my review will take this into account. I had to play "cart path only", which because I'm disabled, making my round far less enjoyable. They hadn't cut the rough for awhile, this made a skinny course really harder too. The greens were in excellent condition. For $65, the conditions made the course overpriced...

I made this reservation for 4. On the day prior the couple we were going with notified me that they had COVId and we not going to be able to golf with us. I tried to cancel via the GolfNow app but was too late. When we arrived at the course I notified them in the pro shop that 2 would not be attending because they were sick and unable to make it. They charged my card the full amount (after I left the pro shop, without notice) I called the next day to request a refund and was very rudely denied. On the course (which was cart path only, however no notice of such from pro shop or the starter) we were hounded by 3 separate Marshalls for being off the cart path, of which we obliged. On the turn we were threatened to be kicked off the course because we have ventured away from the cart path on holes 3,4,5,6 (before we were notified) We ensured the man we Intended to follow the rules only to have them follow us the entire rest of the round and even make false accusations of us leaving the cart path again. Never ever playing this course again. terrible service and accusatory attitude is a total put off for exceptionally sub marginal course.
