Fantastic value
It's east of anywhere resembling civilization but The National is a great course I would recommend playing. I call it a "Lennar course", as in the developer. Similar courses include Heritage Landing and Babcock National. Great greens. Interesting undulations. Very green. Well kept. Friendly staff.

The course will improve I suppose when all the construction is completed..When the wind blows or earth movers rumble through the dirt and dust makes it almost impossible to play without clearing your eyes or coughing. But the biggest issue to me is the course layout. It seems stupid to have so much distance between greens and tees. I could not imagine walking that course in the summer heat. It appears very little thought went into the course routing.

Construction on the front nine
The National at Ave Maria will really be worth the money only once the front nine construction is done.
The design is awesome but front nine is such a mess with the construction on/around each and every hole that I will wait until it’s done before going back…unless I could play the back nine twice because it is very nice!!
The indications between holes on that front nine need work but the info on the screen of the cart, does helps.
The wildlife is wonderful.
The staff is the best around!! So friendly and always smiling. A real treat! The clothing selection and prices in the beautiful proshop is extraordinary!!!
