Challenging but open layout. Lots of water. You have to pay attention to the cart GPS as water is everywhere and not always easily visible. Greens and bunkers were in fantastic shape. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Only knock was clubhouse was locked at 10 after 5PM and had to use porta potty. That and not enough bathrooms on the course.

The course will definitely be A top rated course int time with development and maturity. The greens are spectacular, I was very impressed. I can’t wait to play again.

Course design is nice but pace of play was very slow

A new course with a ton of construction being done. Course was overbooked and the pace was slow. No ranger’s were seen to move things along. Was only able to play 15 holes due to darkness. We started play at 230 p.

Pro shop building is completed. Clubhouse still under construction, Bev cart was out all day. Overall, the course was in very good shape. the greens were fast. Lots of home construction on the front nine. Sometimes difficult to find the next hole when leaving a green, Back nine is close to complete regarding home construction. Will be back to play again assuming greens fees pricing stays competitively priced with other courses in the area.

The greens and fairways were in good condition but the front 9 was not aesthetically appealing because of all the construction around the course. The back 9 was much better because the surrounding construction is mostly complete.

The course layout was challenging and offered 5 different tee box choices. The driving range is unusual because you are hitting into a lake which mentally does not set up your confidence for a good round.

Hidden water traps were easy to overcome. Cart path detours, due to construction, we’re not. This will be a great course once they complete more of the home construction.

Lots of new housing construction going on in front nine, but the course is one of the best in Southwest Florida. The practice area is excellent as are the fairways and greens. From the longer tee boxes most drives are over water which adds an extra layer of challenge and fun for good players

The course is in great shape. Some of the cart paths aren't built yet, but I found it fun to do some off road rambling between holes. That being said I am looking forward to it being completed, just hope I'll still be able to afford playing here when it's done.

From the entrance to Ave Maria, there are no clear directions to the golf shop!
