Ave Maria is a new town being built from the ground up. The golf course was put in before almost anything else. For practical purposes there are no amenities. Everything is under construction. No drinking water on the course. You play along with heavy construction equipment rumbling about. The tees, fairways, sand traps and greens are in good condition. But signage is very limited as you find your way around.

The staff is friendly and helpful and that goes a long way to making it pleasant.

nice course some construction around. mostly wide open/windy trees need to mature. Clubhouse still under construction. range finder watches don't work but carts have good gps screens

Nice tract for a very reasonable price in the area. Good enjoyable round despite all the new home construction going on in the development. Greens were true and rolled fairly quickly despite the morning moisture. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Course is only a year old but greens and fairways great. Other amenities very basic. Which is why it’s inexpensive. Will be good when it’s finished.

Don’t miss out on this fabulous course. You’ll go back.

I drove 26 miles to play this course and it was well worth the trip. Although still under construction, all 18 holes were open for play. This will be a destination once completed.

Booking tee times way too close 4-5 minutes apart very slow play , terrible course management

Nice course and depending on tees can ask you to decide how much water to drive over. If windy(often is) short holes can play long and vice versa. Variety of holes. Some contour to the greens so you must read carefully.

Infra structure still being built. No food. There is a drink cart. Gas buggies. Range and decent short area. May become private in next few years as this is nestled in new bundled community..

Had a 2:24 tee time, would just have enough time for 18 holes. We get there at 2;00 and they inform us they are 1 hour to 1:15 minutes behind due to frost in the morning. You can do nothing about Mother Nature but they did not email or text to let us know before we drove 50 minutes to get there. We would have had 3 hours of daylight and could get in about 12 holes. Asked if there would be a discount and they said no. Asked if we could play 9 holes and they said it would be same fee as 18 hole. We canceled and will never go back.

Very good layout. Everything in the area is under construction. When const is done the course will take on a different feel. Will get better with time.

Played first time and really enjoyed the course. Didn’t know what to expect based on fact that a lot of construction taking place but course was in very good condition with greens rolling fast and smooth

The greens were on the firm side but overall very good shape - got paired up with two young men and had a very fun time and no pace of play issues to any extent. Caught a foursome about the 13th hole but once they exited green they move out quickly - just a few minutes over 4 hr round - will definitely play there ago and would recommend to my friends who visit
