Cordova Golf Course

Play this course. Especially with those that are learning the sport. Shorter yardage makes it a quicker play. Anyways regardless. I will be playing this course again several times.

EXCEPT FOR AN UNPLEASANT DISCOURTEOUS GOLFER BEHIND ME IT WAS A GREAT EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE. PLAYER BEHIND ME WAS OLDER AND KEPT TRYING TO RUSH AND KEPT HITTING INTO ME UNTIL IT FINALLY GOT TOO CLOSE AND HAD TO SOMETHING JUST AS UNPLEASANT AND DISCOURTEOUS TO HER. SHE WAS JUST A VERY FRUSTRATED 90 YEAR OLD MOM WHO THOUGHT SHE DESERVED TO BE ON THE COURSE BY HERSELF. UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE HANDLED BY THE MARSHAL AND MANAGEMENT. THANK YOU.

GREENS A LITTLE SLOW BUT COURSE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE, WELL MAINTAINED. WILL PLAY MORE OFTEN.

The greens have never been so well maintained. 3 hour round.

Called in to cancel and was told that it would be 20 for a call back, Went home and waited for a call back .an hour and a half later I did get a call and was told that the cart was included and that my card would be refunded the amount I paid.

Overall good course for beginner golfers to work on their game. For some reason the course did not realize I had paid for a cart as well on Golfnow. Not sure if that was a glitch with the app but needs to be looked at as it causes delays with tee off as we were waiting for a cart.

The course wasn’t in best condition, but for the money it’s not too bad! I walked 9 holes and still had a fantastic time! Definitely recommend

you can not bet the price, good practice course, close to home.

Been playing here with friends for about 3 years, maybe 15 rounds a year as it’s cheap and fast in the evenings after work in the summer. I have had a few issues in the past, however this time we were treated so poorly I simply cannot come back. Started round at 5:30, right now it doesn’t get dark until 8:45 or so. Was kind of surprised I was told to be finished by 8:15 (after I payed of course), but I knew it would not be a problem. Marshall named Guy was a little off from the beginning, immediately stopped me on the first tee and advised me the front 9 is too difficult and I would be better off playing the back 9 as it is easier. I told him I payed for and was planning to play 18 today, he then drove away. Midway through the round around 6:45 he could be seen watching us. Then at 7:00pm (hole 11) he gave us a warning saying we had 30 min left before we had to leave in the rudest way possible, try to explain we were told 8:15 and he was not having it. He finally drove away after arguing with us for several minutes. Then came back at 7:45 or so and told us we had to leave again, already irritated at this point simply told him know we paid for our round and we are going to finish it, yelled and argued again and then finally left. When we finally wrapped up after all of his delays, it was 8:12pm. Cleaned out our cart and went to hand him the keys and hoping to resolve the issue, told him sorry we were told 8:15 and he could have handled it differently (he was the only one there and obviously just wanted to close up early), he then continued to tell us off and wouldn’t even take the keys when I tried to hand them to him, had to literally drop them on the ground next to him as he refused to take them. Continued to have a meltdown as we left and we assured him he had lost 2 customers that day, he said he doesn’t care and proceeded to go off about him being stuck there on an Friday and not getting paid for it and it’s basically all our fault. I’ve never been treated so poorly. As long as Guy is working at Cordova and they allow this treatment of their customers, I nor anyone I play with will be returning.

Guy could not seem to grasp I paid on golfnow kept trying to charge me. Also sprinklers were on full blast on 2 and 3 fairways soaked 3 inches of water in the cup on both greens. They let people go off the back 9 so when you make the turn it's a traffic jam... older couple played out of the same bag, slow slow slow... D- ...goodbye Cordova golf course

Visiting a friend in the Sacramento area and had time for a quick round of golf at Cordova . The pace of play is never an issue the greens was a tad bit slow. The post-round burgers one of the best I ever had !

If you play this course in the afternoon, it will cost you the same amount as a bucket of balls. Why not get out on the grass? The conditions are OK considering the price and there are a wide range of hole lengths to test all of the clubs in the bag.
