GOOD COURSE FOR IRON PRACTICE SINCE THERE ARE 7 PAR 3'S. GREENS ARE VERY FAST AND CHALLENGING...

COURSE IN DECENT SHAPE CONSIDERING THE DRY WINTER SO FAR INTO FEBRUARY 2013...

It is a modest course. Great staff and driving range. Course is not especially well maintained. Lots of beginners use it. Plays fast, very walkable. You use every club.

I always like playing this course because I usually hit every club in my bag (driver 260 yards, pitching wedge 115 yards). The greens were rolling very true and fast (around a 9 on the stimp meter).

The course is decent and maintained. My problem with this course is the small crowd of thieves that play here. Yesterday was the second time something has disappeared during the 4 hours I spent there. The first time a license plate was taken from my truck and I am talking about unscrewed from the license holder. Yesterday I didn't putt on hole 16 because I was taking to much time so having brought up to the green area both my wedge and putter. Since I only used my wedge I only brought back to my bag the wedge but not knowing that until the next hole. The guys that played with me were driving a cart so they volunteered to go back a couple holes to retrieve the putter. They asked everyone but all said no they didn't see it. I have picked up many clubs and either returned them to owner or placed them in club house. I will never play there again due to the integrity of the patrons Not because of the course and the staff , they have always been helpful and cordial. Golf is about integrity and discipline I am very disappointed because I enjoy playing here a couple times a month

My son and I played on a group on coupon he had received. We each hit a bucket of balls and played 18 holes of golf. The course was very wet and mushy in spots requiring the carts to stay on the paths. The greens were relatively good but the approach areas surrounding them were almost unhittable with wedges. Still it was a sunny day and golf is good anytime.

Only paid $10 to play and even at that price I wouldn't go back. The fairways are horrible and there are much better places to play for the money.

The course is to tight, you keep hearing FORE in every hole. ten par 3 holes and only one par 5.

How is this even a golf course? Course is in really bad shape, the only time I would recommend this course if it is your first round of golf ever.

Got o deal on GolfNow to play this course for only 6$, was a little muddy but how can you beat that, and wasn't a super beginner course. Had a great day and would play again.

Cordova is a well-laid out course, plenty of trees, some waterways that could pose problems for people like me who hit unpredictable shots due to acute rookieness. Easy to find one's way around, people are easy-going and friendly. A real bargain surrounded by much more expensive golf courses. Open and wide is good for beginners, and there are some long holes. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff in pro shop!

Given the recent rain, the course had drained well and had few wet spots. Fairways were in good condition and the greens were soft and a little slow. Pace of play was very good and the course is one you can walk. Great value!

If you are like me and you have a left to right fade (some call it a slice..haha) then this course will work for you. Fairway to fairway. One par 5, six par 4's, and the rest par 3's it is more than enough for amateurs. You get a good reps on your irons, woods, hybrids, and drivers.

Pace of play was so so. Had a single cut in in front of us without asking.....A power cart lost juice, but a marshal brought over a replacement cart in a short amount of time......Greens could be rolled more often as they were real slow. Well overall the course was a very good value for the money.

Bare patches in fairways. Some greens as well. Good couse for hackers and beer drinkers.

I chose this course because of the value. It was $15.00 with the airration and golf cart symbol for 18 holes. I get to the course and they say that was the walking rate and the symbol is for carts available. So I had to pay another $13 per person which made it $56 for a course that was in horrible condition on the fairways, greens, and just overall condition. The staff person was rude from the start and then it is just not a well maintained course like it use to be over 10 years ago. I will never go back there again.

Dry in many places, wet in others? Greens in bad shape, as well as the sand traps. Getting to be overpriced for what you get. Used to be a good deal. I have played at this course for over 15 years and it is getting pretty bad. Care of the course is going down. Pace of play is reduculous. People started too close, as well as groups split with walking and riding in the same groups? Someone needs to wake up at Cordova and see that their are other courses that are in much better shape for the buck and if they don't change, people will play where at a course that is maintained and gives you value for your money..

For beginners, men and women as well as seasoned golfers, this is a descent course. it's not long, but it has it's challenges. It has water on several holes, good bunker set up and it's narrow in spots. It's cared for pretty well considering the traffic on it, and the California heat, especially the greens. I've been to high dollar courses and the greens are all chewed up, and here it's not bad. For the money, and the swiftness it can be played I would definitely recommend it.

The Staff are friendly and the farways and greens are in good shape. A good course for the money
