Worse golf course ever.
Don't waste your time n money in this golf course. My friend damaged his golf club because of poor condition of the fairways and greens. I reported it to their staff and he replied what do you expect for $20. Horrible place to play golf.
Good for the Price
This is a good course for the price--especially the very low discounted prices available via Golf Now. The first green is in terrible shape, but most of the others are fair. If you are looking for very good greens, don't use this facility, but if you want to practice driving and approach shots, this course offers good value. Also, I would suggest improving your lie in the fairway since there are several barren areas in the fairways.
worth it
The course isn't bad....the greens were fine. The pace of play was good. Its not the nicest course around but for the price, I was very pleased.
Worst experience
Worst place I've been to! So ugly and run down. I thought golf was suppose to be on "green" grass NOT dirt... Will never come back again and definetly won't recommend to anyone.. Let alone admit I'd ever been there!
the price is right
The course fairways are wide and very forgiving. However, the long distances compensate to make it somehow challenging. The best that the course offers is that it is very cheap, ideal for retired people with limited resources.
Great value
I've played here many times. Typically, pace of play is pretty good....once in a while it is very slow. It attracts many weekend/not serious high handicappers because of it's very cheap weekend twilight rates.
Beer is cheap compared to most courses.
The 19th hole is lacking resemblance to anything I'd want to hang at with friends afterwards.
reasonable price
overall course condition was better than i expected. afternoon special price is great. greens was a bit slow but was ok.
Cheap but that's what you get
This is actually my home course so to speak, I live off the tenth green. It is located in a retirement community thus the prices are kept low. The course lay out is actually really nice with no funky holes and the it is a comfortable course to play. Lots of surrounding land and the fairways are quite wide and the whole course is mostly flat. If you are looking for length playing the blues or blacks will really give you this opportunity. The down side to this course is the greens are small and very bumpy the fairways are sparse and you will find a lot of dirt shots on this course. In essences the course needs a lot of TLC. The range is flat and grass ( sort of) tee are is nice no mats but the balls they use must be hundred years old. All in all the price is cheap and the course is too. The best part of the course is the staff. Stephanie in the pro shop is a really sweetheart everyone loves her.
Budget Course You Get What You Pay For
I play this course often because of the low price and close to my house. You have to be prepared to play with guys in jeans and t-shirts. There are some holes where people cut through and can delay when you tee off. Greens are typically slow and ball bounces a lot. But you can't beat the price for a practice round.
Awful course
This course is in need of some serious TLC. In my opinion it is the worst course I've ever played. Some of the holes had so many gopher holes and was so beat up, I'm surprised I could find my ball. Even if you hit a few yards left or right off the "fairway" you had to hit off solid dirt. This was a last second choice to play and i doubt I would go back
good course to practice swing changes
Not the best course in the world but it is wide open and somewhat long. This is a good place to try new things with your game without getting into too uch trouble.
not bad for the money
Fairway are bad not much grass around the greens and the greens are good.I like the layout of the course.if you want to play a quick round this the course
keeps getting worse. Poor condition. Not worth the 16.00$
keeps getting worse. Poor condition. Not worth the 16.00$
Good value, course is long. Fairways a little rough.
Greens were good, its a long course. Hit the fairways and it will play very fair. Miss and the problems begin. I think it plays harder than its rating.
california arts and country club
the course is not as nice as I would have liked, but for the money who cares. the staff was super friendly and very helpful. they let me go off on the back nice first as I had some cigars shipped to a friend of mine that lives on the 16th hole. the best part of the course are the greens.
golfnow.com is a real deal if you shop around with it. well worth your time you invest to use the site.
I highly recommend this site!!!
Nice training course for beginners
Nice course for beginners. Great pace of play and no serious golfers breathing down your neck.
The course has great potential.
The course is not kept up to its potential. A little watering here and there and better maintenance can make this course one of the top courses in this area.
