Not maintained
Only greens were mowed. Fairways were longer than the ball. Rough areas were not grass but overgrown vegetation from all the recent rain, could not locate balls reasonably close to fairways. Several holes had giant puddles, and mud debris from flooding. Carts sounded like they were falling apart.
Cold, rainy, but still a good time
Took the wife out in the rain on a hot deal, and it was totally worth it. It's a long course that they're working on. But I think that because of months of bad weather that the conditions were decent all things considered.

Cherry Hills
Not a bad layout for the course. Weeds are so heavy along the sides of the fairways that you lose a lot of balls. Squirrels are so bad that you lose balls in squirrel holes too. Greens are really nice right now due to the rain. Not a bad place to play if they keep the price down to $15 or below

Incredible improvements!
Pinch me. The course has returned to its old glory days! Recent rains have brought the whole course back to life. The greens are smooth, tight, thick yet short and incredibly fast. Fairways are flat, wide and lush. This historical course has so much to offer any player. Views are spectacular with massive olive, pine and 60 year old palm trees. Makes you understand why Del Webb made this one of his first “retirement “ courses. But it’s family friendly! Bring your kids. Come play a course of history where Hollywood legends like Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Lawrence Welk, Sinatra and Sam Sneed played. Rumor has it Tiger Woods played here as a kid.
horrible gourse
this is a $2.00 worth course, worse course i have ever been to. the Tee markers were missing, the grass was not cut, the shavings from the previous grass was everywhere, the greens were so bumpy, i should have brought my truck on the course rather then a golf cart. Dont come here not worth it. unless ur paying $2.00

How about a tee marker
The fairways and greens were in decent shape even though that needed to be cut. Greens were super slow and bumpy with on green with only patches of poa. They could at least have tee markers on the tee boxes. Several had no markers (I played blues). And most that were there were hard to tell. What Color they were. The lay out is decent but get some mowers out and roll the green!

Many years playing this course
This course has its ups and downs when it comes to conditions.i It’s one of the longest courses in the county. The greens right now are in good condition, a bit bumpy and slow. The fairways are good/fair for now but will get worse as the weather gets hot. Biggest issue with the course over the years are the burying animals. Lots of holes that ruins the course. You must keep your ball in the fairways or you can easily lose them to n the weeds and holes outside the tree lines. The carts are old and need replacement. I tee boxes, not bad overall. Currently hole 15 green is damaged. Overall it’s a great practice course.
Poor practice balls. Nice people and a reasonable price to play. Always can get out so you can head out anytime and get a tee time.

Not bad. Perfect for practice rounds
Course was in good shape, fairways were very playable nicer then 3 or 4 months ago. Anything off the faiway and you might scratch your clubs so i just do preferred lies off the fairways. Overall not bad

What a Suprise !!
Played quite a long time after, more than a year or so, course is in surprisingly good shape. Impressed!
Most bare grounds on fairways are gone and greens are perfect, a bit slow though. Thank you for the improvements.

Good for the money
I paid a little and golfed a lot. Just getting back in to the game and it was fun. If you are looking for a PGA course... You will be disappointed. If you are looking for practice and a place to get back your swing, this is a great place. Sure there are rough spots and some greens are in bad shape, but the majority is good. Plays long.
