Course was playing well but spoilt by a Marshall
So a nice relaxing Sunday round…great weather and paired with some friendly guys. It’s was backing up a little come through 6th or 7th. We were waiting on the foursome in front of us. Marshall then keeps appearing and his only words were you need to play faster. Really!!!! What like hit into them !!! Understand a Marshall is there is keep pace of play going but concentrate on the groups that are causing a back up.
They'll accuse you of damaging carts
This dumpster of a course accused my friends and I of damaging a golf cart. We do no such thing. Returned the cart in the condition we received it in. This course is great if you need a last second tee time. Other than that, avoid it at all cost
Good Value
The course was a little dry but very playable, good pace of play which is always good!
Always fun
My friend, Vijay and I got paired with a guy named Perry and a lady named Choi. Both of them were just above our level of play but we stayed playing good golf on each hole.
The tee boxes were good and clean of broken tees, last time
here no one kept them free of debris.
Fairways were were cut nice and greens were in great condition.
Again very few ball marks on the greens.
We got a little behind around the 7th tee but we just slowed our pace to eliminate a wait time. The foursome behind did the same so we never felt rushed.
We will definitely play again.
Course Running Downhill
Like many courses in N CA water problems affecting the quaity of the fairways, leaving many uneven and bare spots. The off FW areas are mostly bare ground and more squirrel holes than I have ever seen. The tee areas are not in great shape uneven, some crowned and often either very loose soil or hard packed. greens are OK but slower than I ever seen, not been rolled for a long time but they were in good grass shape.
course conditions suffering from drought?
the greens were fine, but the fairways had a lot of issues, lot of dirt, lot of divot marks.
