Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course

Much of the course was in very good conditions in spite of recent rain. Many bare spots though which still need seeding. Greens are being aerated so no comment right now. Hole ten and eleven are extremely noisy from 101 traffic which is the only downside I see to this course.

Didn't know about the areated greens. I can't even spell it but i had a great group to play with today. That made my attitude better about the green' conditions.

Its a primarily flat course that plays long. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Really nice course!

Sunnyvale is a solid Muni track. It offers some difficult hole layouts however most are approachable even for beginner golfers. It’s usually busy and the par 3’s get backed up, but that’s to be expected from munis, a little bit of a wait never killed anyone. California, has loosened restrictions on how bars and kitchens operate, however Sunnyvale has not taken advantage of being able to serve alcohol and food to the golfers out on the course, that’s my only gripe with the place. Standard for muni’s course maintenance is Ok, just Ok. However, overall a solid track for its value.

Always a good time playing at sunnyvale. Greens are fast fairways well groomed. Number 8 always gets me

Par 4's over 400 yards into strong wind are tough.

greens are slow due to aeration being done. Should be better after a month.e

This is a fun course and it used to be one of the prettiest courses in the bay area until they let the water hazards dry up 5 years ago. Every golf course is seeing financial windfall this year, including Sunnyvale. It is time to return this great course back to it's former glory and fill the ponds and creeks.

Punched the greens which I'm fine with but oversanded. Some greens had an inch of sand on them.

I guess this is the season to protect the greens so it is impossible to putt on it.
