Fantastic! 3rd time playing love this sport and the people. Beautiful course and the greens were challenging. Highly recommend!
Aerated greens lessened the day
We did not know that the greens had been aerated before we got there. They were very bumpy and very slow. Thought the price was high for the quality of the greens. Should have received a discount.

Unfair charge
Disappointed in being charged $27 for additional cart for my daughter to ride in. I could see $10 extra but not $27. Thought about this course as my go to but pretty Disappointed. That was like a round when she just rode the course.

Good Shape
I've played this course at least a dozen times and today was the best I've found it. Except for the greens being aerated and sanded, the tee boxes and fairways were well groomed and the bunkers were in good shape. If you're not from around here don't casually go up to your ball if it lands near any water. The gators can be well hidden.

Nice course
The course is a great value for the experience. The layout is nice. The views are good. The course conditions fair. Some of the greens need attention. As do some of the fairways near the greens. However for the price it is a very nice course.

Fun course for all levels
I took a 10- man old trip to Sapelo over the last weekend. We range from a 0.8 to a 28 handicaps. All have fun on that course. Great views and layout but the wind can make it tricky. They young man named Evin that works there is a really friendly and helpful employee. He was always smiling and willing to do anything extra to make our trip better. We will be back next May for sure.

Play almost as slow as the greens
I like the layout of this course. Not super challenging but makes you be real selective on some holes. Two par 3s require you to carry all marsh, which is a challenge I like. Only gripes I have is that they had the mens golf association's weekly tournament tee off right before our tee time so that delayed ours for almost 25 mins. Greens are slooooooow. Probably just need a cut and a good rolling. Other than that the course was in good condition and I had a great round with my dad and my brothers.

Could have been better
Greens had been sanded ...but had not been dragged/brushed. Got behind a 4-some that was making every "slow play" mistake possible. Made for a LONG day (4.5 hours ....as a single) ...and no ....no offer to have me play through.

Sapelo hammock
What a hidden gem. This course was so much fun to play. Beautiful live oak trees lined the fairways. The marsh views were outstanding...and the wildlife was spectacular. Course was very fair but challenging. We drove from Hilton Head as the courses on the island have become too expensive. This was a fairly priced course and in much better shape then most courses in HHI.

Poor Greens
We played a couple of weeks ago and the Course was great!
On this day the Greens were in very poor condition

disappointed
I don't know what has happen to greens around our area (Savannah) but they have suffered some kind of fungus or something, but the greens at Sapelo Hammock were in bad shape! The back 9 the greens were better. What I was also disappointed in that the course was charging full price and you did not get what you paid for.!
This is a beautiful course and I would highly recommend it but not at this time, Greens are important to every golfer and when they are terrible, you don't enjoy all the beauty this course offers
