Penmar Golf Course

Was put with a lovely foursome and had a very enjoyable round. Rental clubs were fine and course conditions were dry but very playable.

The conditions were so much better in the winter. Sometimes I’ll even have trouble finding a decent lie on the fairway. Multiple tee boxes need serious work. Pace of play is never great unless you tee off before 9a,

I do love this course since I’m so close, the vibes are good, and I usually have fun. I’ll just be playing it less because of the conditions.

Shot a great round so can’t complain too much

Greens are in great condition and are mini putt like, super flat which is very scorable

Layout is always entertaining

Lots of golfers out today. Two-three groups waiting on every t box.

Main caveat right now is just those tee boxes

the staff has a lot of the areas under repair

So in 2-3 weeks course will be in great shape

Unfortunately this place just eats tons of divots off the tees on 1,2,3,5,8 and 9… and to be honest 4 isn’t great either

Penmar is terrible, please don't play there. Sun never shines. No freindly people. Greens and Fairways are almost immaculate and perfect. Drinks are terrible. Friendly and helpful servers mean you spend too much time in the bar enjoying yourself. I don't recommend it. No one should ever want to play there or have drinks or food. All golfers should go to other courses.

Nice course, great food...but PLEASE stop sending 5-somes out ten minutes apart. It's never on time, and we sit around waiting constantly!!!

If you can’t stand big crowds this course may not be for you on a Friday afternoon. The first tee is pushed forward to accommodate a concert environment that’s open to the public “mini Coachella”. Parking becomes a struggle starting at 2:30pm and restroom lines 20 people deep. Aside from that Penmar is a fun little course to play!

Every time 5people playing too much . We had too wait every hole . .

For a nine hole course this an excellent value. I know people that are used to playing upper tier courses would snicker at the thought of less .than the excellent conditions but this is a test of consistency. And save some$ .

There’s a special vibe about Penmar. There just is no other place like it.
