I had a great time at this course.
The course staff was friendly and professional. The pace was a little slow because we played as 5-somes.
Hidden Away
A short nine holes, but not a par 3. Food and beer were a surprise!
2nd time and will keep it going
It was my second time playing at the course, I had a great time early tea; the staff was friendly, and I had a great game to top it off.
Penmar By The Sea
A great afternoon of business development on the course. I have played this course for 40 years but hadn't in the past 2. Lots of great changes to the dinky coffee shop. Now it is a full service restaurant and bar with great food. The course was in great shape and the greens especially true. Great value.
First Time here
I was in a group of 5, and there was a group of 5 ahead of me and after. Even with large groups, the pace was good. Had an enjoyable time.
First time solo
I have played this course many times with a friend but this was the first time I played as a single. The group I played with were very nice and it was an enjoyable round.

Loved it!!
With 100% chance of rain on the day of play coupled with Penmar’s “no rain check policy”, I played in the rain and it was awesome!
Noone was out! Benefit: fast play!! Benefit: no waiting!
We have our share of great weather days in SoCal but why not play in the rain?? It was an adventure and a joy to have the course to myself!
Wished had time to stay for the food, as their is a nice restaurant I like to stop in for after the round.
Final thoughts: I’m doing this again for sure!

Fast Greens
Haven't played here in a while so found a decent tee time. Fairways and tee boxes were decent, green ran fast which was good. Found the bunker on the 1st which had good sand coverage. The only downfall was the groups of 5 making the round almost 3 hours. Will be back before the end of the year.
