Pine Creek Golf Club

Challenging course with a few narrow fairways, but my group had a great time. It's still early in the season so when the weather warms the greens will improve for better reads. Overall a very likable golf course.

Pros: This is one of my favorite courses to play in Colorado Springs. Amazing views and challenging course. Tight fairways

Cons: Cart path only in the winter. Pace of play can be a little slow when you don't expect it too be.

My only problem with Pine Creek is the price. It's the most expensive public course in Colorado Springs. So I really like it when Pine Creek uses the internet to advertise discounted tee times.

However, and this has happened twice, when we book the tee-time online using the discount rate the pro shop at the course does not have the same tee-time in their records! You could imagine how this creates a massive problem when you think you're teeing off at a certain time, but in actuality it's a completely different time.

Showed up at the course 45 min before tee time, course was really empty. thought great get off a few minutes early. well even with almost no one on the course, told me no way. you got a golf now hot deal so we don't get any money for that. So you need to wait to play a empty course, if you wanted to play earlier you should have paid full price. Well told them they would sure get a lousy revue from me, if thats how they treated hot deal players. Thanks Kazar in the pro shop. Will not return.

There are a couple of holes that require pretty perfect placement of the tee shot to have a chance. Several par 4's & 5's play much better if you don't use your driver. I was surprised at how green and lush the rough was, particularly after playing Denver courses that were pretty dried out. I did see a couple of hardy folks walking it, but I wouldn't recommend it. A yardage book, or a gps that shows more than yardage to the green are a very good thing to have the first time you play it. Pretty empty on a beautiful October Tuesday, so can't really rate the pace of play on a busy day.

A must play for all skill levels. Fairways are wide but the putting greens can be tricky.

I like this course and drove from denver to play it again / especially since a year ago we were done early and wanted to replay and they charged us a cart fee / around $15 to replay it again in the afternoon/ We finished early again this time and asked for a replay and they wanted full 18 hole rate again to replay... the course had basically nobody on it either .. and we may not even finished the round as the days are getting shorter. I asked why we got a replay rate before and the starter just blew us off and said he doesn't do that.

This course never disappoints me. Bunkers are soft, fairways are forgiving. Greens have just the right amount of break and challenge. Carts have club and ball washers built into them. The staff even gave us a cooler to keep our drinks cold. I come back here time and time again for a reason.

Course where prior knowledge makes a difference. Thankfully played with two people who knew the course and could steer me int he right direction. Incredible views from just about every hole

Played the course while visiting the area from Southern California. We enjoyed the layout - it was challenging enough without penalizing us. Most tees and all of the fairways and greens were in great shape. Bunkers? Not so much. Looks like they have taken a beating from recent rains and they were in pretty rough shape. Hopefully they will be brought up to match the rest of the course soon. Staff in the pro shop, the starter, and the beverage cart were all very friendly and helpful. Recommend you give this course a try if you're in the area.

Slow play, where is the Marshall?

Beautiful challenging course with awesome views.

I walked the front and rode on the back - this is my only criticism -- it's a difficult walk because of the distance between holes, especially on the back. Otherwise it was a nice track with excellent greens and a nice variety in the layout. I would play here again if I lived in the area.

Nice course, pretty good condition, a challenge from the back tees but better driving for hitting areas. All in all, a good entettaining golf course

This course was in excellent condition. Loved everything about it. Would play again.

The course had hills abound, rivers running thru it and straight long holes. Some blind shots included. A fun course for all.

I had a great day driving the ball and hit a lot of fairways. Unfortunately this was not the case for the 3 guys I was paired up with. High handicappers should really leave their driver in the bag on most of the course so as not to slow down play looking for balls that are close to impossible to locate in the native grasses that line every hole. Fairways and greens were in nice shape. Greens were running fast and held approach shots well. Bunkers need some work. Mostly hardpan.
