Towne Lake Hills Golf Club

This is a nice course but with all the rain we have had plays really wet. This condition will change in the coming months. When I played they were aerating the back greens but the front were untouched. These greens were terrific. Very fast and in great shape, so I expect that after aeration, all the greens will be really nice. Very hilly layout, unusual to get a level lie. Well placed shots may be rewarded.

Enjoyed the round. Course is tough if you are not familiar with the course due to the hills and blind pins encountered. Greens were in very good shape and staff was very nice. I liked a couple of the par fives but again knowing the landing areas made it very difficult.

A rare window of mild, partly cloudy weather coincided with a day off and a Golf Now hot deal. The course was in better condition than I would have thought given all the recent rain, hence the summary title. The greens rolled quickly and well and few were the times that I had to move the ball from a soggy spot in the fairway. Though I seldom get to, I enjoy playing this course. It's not overly long, but is challenging and requires a measure of strategy for each hole. Familiarity is a definite asset and I wouldn't mind becoming more familiar with this track.

Hint: The greens do not break as much as you read. I am a member of the culb up the street and it was fun to play here for a change, and will do so again. The practice range has been upgraded with good targets.

Fun course that I enjoyed playing although the course needed attention.

Good course with some challenging holes, but not too punishing from the blues (6,200+ yds.) Some good scoring opportunity holes. Conditions were very good for being middle of winter - greens were excellent. I would definitely play again, and am really looking forward to playing in the spring/summer - this course will really be beautiful then.

The course was in good shape, considering it rained heavy a few days before. The greens were a little slow but they rolled pretty true. The fairways and rough were in good shape as well. This is a tough course, as it is narrow in some spots. It is one of the better neighborhood golf courses around. My only issue was as a single I was held up by 2 two-somes on the back nine, the last 5 holes. Overall the course is a fun track with a good layout.

I got a great deal on Golfnow during a weekday and zipped through this course. I find the layout very challenging but enjoyable. Course was also well maintained. Would recommend.

The more I play this course the more I enyoy it. It is a good value and I highly recommend it. Once you learn to play the hills it will grow on you. Course drains very well and is maintained very well. The biggest thing I like about this place is the staff is always friendly and very accommodating. I have gone out and played this course in two hours which was outstanding...

I've always had fun at TLH. It's not flat and not overly hilly but elevation does come into play. The staff is always really nice and friendly so that makes it an even better experience.

The course was in great shape for this time of year. Greens were well maintained. Some challenging holes.

Good and nice course to get around. will paly again

This course has a fun, moderately challenging layout with many elevation changes. The day I played the course was in great shape, despite all the recent rain. The greens rolled true and the fairways were well maintained. The view from the 10th green looking back at the tee box and driving range is incredible. I will continue to play here and would definitely recommend this course.

Course is very solid as a whole. Nothing really bad, but also nothing realy good. Greens were a little slow, but that is this time of year. Course played well. Pace of play was good except for the last few holes when we were held up. Overall, I continue to play there for good practice.

The greens were fantastic, best I have ever seen them roll.

I've play here a few times and have enjoyed doing so every time. The course is always in great shape and I enjoy the mix of holes. If you are playing for the first time you may want to play with someone who has been here before for the local knowledge on a few holes to keep you out of trouble. Even though it is close to an hour drive I would definitely come back again.

Greenns and fairways are great as long as the leaves are blow off-which they were.

This course needs to invest in new golf carts. When every time I play in the early afternoon and the cart needs to be replaced by or before the turn this becomes a very real hassle.

The course is in great fall shape. The staff is friendly. The restaurant and bar serves good food and drink for a fair price.

The course was in great condition for this time of year and the green rolled very smooth and seemed to be repaired frequently. I would love to see this course at the beginning of the golf season. I will be coming back as this course was fun and had several challenging shots. Bring all of your clubs!
