Kona Country Club

Cool course .. carts electric and near new- worked very well . Course conditions weren’t perfect but good..layout was good with clubhouse at the turn for hole 10. There is a driving range. Enjoyable ocean and countryside views. Some wildlife -goats n birds got a hot deal @85 - usually 170.

Course great condition with fast greens and pounds located on slope missed seeing blow home on hole 3 twosome finished in 3 hours with 1030 tee

I booked through Golfnow for $123 because booking through the website was $200. I made the mistake on the tee time and was 1 1/2 hours early. The (local) cashier was very nice and she said the course was wide open, however, the Pro (manager) will not let you go out early. I explained to him that the course was wide open and can I go out, he was extremely ride, could care less and was adamant that he could not let me go early. I putted, hit some range balls, chipped etc. Range balls were not included and the balls were about 10 years old! I went back up and checked in 1/2 hour to 40 min early and received by cart. The LOCAL starter was very nice and stated, the course is wide open, go for it! Course was in decent shape and I enjoyed the round.

My dismay is the POS Pro that thinks he is working at The Masters or Pebble Beach! He needs to learn some management and customer skills!

The attached restaurant was the same. The bartender was rude and she could care less that I wanted a drink and lunch. She was extremely nice to her local three male friends, eating off their plate and talking with them the entire time. She finally brought my burger, then rudely asked “ do you want condiments” really! I had to get up to ask for my bill and couldn’t wait to leave.

The people at this so called Country Club need to learn customers service. The locals that work there are very nice and old school.

I will not return!

Course was very nice. Only complaint is golf club rental. Clubs were in poor condition, some mixed clubs in bag. Putters grips were terrible.

Still enjoyed the course overall.

Fairways are good and greens are in great shape. Pace was about 4-1/2 hours as there was a slow foursome ahead of us. Definitely was a busy Sunday on the course.

We’ve played several of the resort courses so far and found Kona CC to be in great shape comparatively. Greens are perfect. The undulations made for a tough day putting but if you played here a few times, you’d get used to them. Fairways were nice as well, and you can’t beat the views.

Beautiful course, how could it not be in Hawaii? A lot of cut grass that would have been nice to have been picked up, but that's a minor thing. Very playable and the fact that the wind was down made it fun. Cart refreshment and after round prices were decent too.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first round at Kona Country Club.

Course is immaculate for the money. The best value I have ever had.

Greens and fairways were beautiful and challenging. Too crowded so play was very slow. Guy who gave us clubs was nasty. In pro shop the people were very friendly and helpful.
