Kona Country Club

It was a great way to spend my birthday . The course was in great shape and the views are amazing . Mahalo Kona country club. 🤙🌺

I played Kona Country Club six times during a two week stay in a nearby timeshare. Enjoyed it every time. The course has enough variety to make it interesting. The greens take some getting used to - the direction of the grain has a big influence on the speed and. Path of the ball, so every putt is an interesting puzzle to figure out.

Course is spectacular, great layout and playable for any level golfer. Only downside is 8 minutes given to complete each hole

We had a rain delay and the Pro Shop staff was very friendly albeit a bit disorganized on feeding out the groups when the rain stopped.

The cart Wranglers were a mixed bag mostly being disorganized and sometimes downright rude with no concept of customer service and what it means to be a guest.

A great location but far from being a country club experience as the name would indicate.

The restaurant bar had great views but the food was so so but good service.

The table was so sticky that it literally could not be clean with layers and layers of gunk.

Good happy hour prices.

Golf shop had a lot of merchandise but no rain gear or gloves which is a little ironic being in Hawaii when cloudbursts happen all the time out of the blue.

The Pinnacle logo ball was the cheapest logo ball I bought anywhere so kudos for not price gouging.

Course was great. Don’t be above the hole unless you are a great putter. Beautiful holes along the ocean and fantastic views throughout the course.

I booked a 2:20 tee time. I called them pro shop to make sure I could finish the round (carts have to be in at 5:30). I was assured that I would finish because of the lack of tee times in front of mine. The course was packed and I only finished 14 holes. They shouldn’t take people’s money for late tee times or, they should make them aware of the risk. They probably pushed 6 groups off the course that didn’t finish. That’s a lot of money.

I played this course several years ago and it was in ok shape. It is in bad shape now. For the cost, I wouldn’t recommend it. Fairways are brown and hard.

Nice course in great shape, played in the AM and went round in less than 3 hrs. Mostly two somes ahead and pace was great

Gave this course a second chance and still the same problems. Our tee time was 30 minutes later than it was supposed to be. Very poor management of how they flow groups onto the course. Then, because they were 30 minutes late teeing us off, they still insisted we get off the course at 5:2opm.....no compensation on their part. Had they tee off on time, we would of finished hole 17 & 18...but the course marshall wouldn't let us, despite knowing the course was at fault getting us out on time. Simple courtesy and taking responsibility would of been appreciated. No mention made when we checked in as to when we had to be off the course.
