Kona Country Club

This is a great course. Nice people and beautiful views while golfing!!!!!

Greens were slower than most but rolled true. Generous fairways with approachable greens. Nice soft sand.

Kona Country Club’s Golf Course is an absolute gem and a must-play on the Big Island. The par 3s and other holes near the water were amazing, but there too many holes where you could hit a 230 yd drive down the middle, but be left with an awkward slopey lie either sideways, uphill or downhill. There were also several holes especially #10 that you could not see the green or flag, even after a solid drive down the middle. The yardages on the cart gps were 10-15yds out compared a laser rangefinder.

Got a great deal on GN. Excellent course with several holes right on the ocean. Great conditions. Best course we played on the Big Island.

Played here on our Christmas family vacation. My son and I had a great round of golf. The coarse it self was in fantastic shape, we brought our own clubs and used one of there carts which all of them looked brand spanking new. We got are round in a little over 3hours and 45 min which seemed really fast, we never had to wait for any groups in front of us. After the round we cad lunch in the adjoining Restuarant , the food and service was fantastic. All in all we’d definitely play more rounds of golf there if we had the time.

Hint: Don’t let your eyes deceive you — everything breaks towards the ocean. Fair layout otherwise. Goats are a fun addition.

Amazing course and a good time. It was a little beat up in September 2025 but has bounced back nicely at the end of October 2025. Never disappointed to play a round here.

Course was in great condition and a good value for the island. A bit more forgiving than some of the other courses further north, but challenging enough. I'll play it again!

The course was in great shape fairways and greens. Great course layout and friendly staff. Will be back!

The course layout is great for a resort course, not a lot of trouble around. Unfortunately, the lack of water was obvious. There we bare spots on the fairways and some greens.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Lunch after the round was great.

Great scenery. The golf course was in decent shape considering the relatively dry weather recently. Some scruffy patches on greens and fairways. The 19th hole and a nice, non-corporate vibe you don't see in some other Kona area courses. Would gladly play it again.

For never playing anything like it, the course was fun. It's fairly straight forward with some forgiveness where needed, but also forces you to hit a good shot to make a good score. Decent rental clubs, great staff.

Even though I paid a high rental fee, the golf clubs were rusty and very worn out.
