Slow pace of play. No Marshall supervising pace of play. Some areas of course in poor shape, dry. Slow greens.

Great course but hot-can be really hot! It needs water stations every 4 holes! We could have easily had heat strokes

Thoroughly enjoyed our round until we ran into the group ahead on #3. From there, the pace was incredibly slow and we had to wait on every hole after that. The course layout and conditions were excellent. Beautifully manicured and the greens were slow but we enjoyed it nevertheless. The ocean holes were incredible, giving us an appreciation for the real estate that this course is on. The lava and blow hole made the tee shot especially special. Hitting the ball over the waves as it crashes against lava cliffs. My only complaint is that there was no marshal that would hurry up slow groups.

Nice layout. Course recovering from aeration. Fairway, greens were in average shape. Pace of play great as not too busy. Had nice mea in restaurant.

I am staying if the course so wanted to play. Got a great deal on golf pass, saving me more than 50% I am a 4 handicap, and was looking forward to practicing. I was disappointed with the the practice green (awful) and chipping green (fair) but I liked the pitching area options, even with the dog droppings. The sand bunker had not been raked in weeks, if at all. Otherwise, I loved the course layout and the greens were just ok. Pace of play was good and the GPS in the cart helped a ton. I would play every time I can get a discount, but NOT for $180

Staff fabulous including beverage cart and the 19th hole. Great layout and very playable, good conditions. Good value with GN hot deal. Will definitely play again.

Greens take some local knowledge and it’s easy to under read the break. Always slow into the mountain and speedy towards the ocean. Great views throughout the course with 4 holes right on the ocean. Very convenient to town and costs 1/2 of the resort courses up the coast (although they are all great courses).

Sometimes a Marshall would help as it can play on the slow side…but why hurry in paradise?

Kona Country Club is a great course that will challenge any skill level. The greens are in great shape and if you think you read enough break you probably didn’t. I ended up playing with a local golfer which was great. Lots of scenic ocean views with lots of. Challenging shots. I’m going back soon.
