Ute Creek Golf Course

Course is coming along nice. If you play before 10am you’ll play quickly but anything after that you will see groups stacked on each tee box.

We booked a 4some on golf

Now and when we showed up at the course it was very windy my friends and I wanted to play so we said awe let’s just try and play with the wind! We played a few holes and the wind was so bad the ball was moving when we were trying to putt. So I contacted golf now and they said they had to contact the golf shop and when they did the golf shop said the wind wasn’t a factor that the course was playable but they weren’t out there golfing like we were so I thought that was an issue. We played the first nine in horrible wind conditions and then the wind died down a little on the back 9 but all in all not a very good day to play and bad experience from the pro shop that refused to give us our money back. We almost quit and went in the shop to speak to the golf attendant but we just played it out in horrible wind conditions. Golf shop attendant was not very helpful or professional.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the course played for this time of year. There were ground under repair areas that were well marked with plenty of drop space, this was very rare on the course.

I arrived 45 minutes early, staff was great at walking me through everything. Range and practice areas were perfect and in good shape.

I got the hot deal but opted to walk 18, I wish I could do a walking hot deal, but it is what it is.

As is with Trent Jones designs, the layout of the course was challenging and full of well placed hazards. A lot of aggressive shots were available, but you were always flirting with disaster, so I kept to playing a conservative game with thought out approaches.

The spacing of groups was great, it was a breath of fresh air to be on a course where you didn't feel like they were just cramming in as many groups as they could, we finished our round in just over 4 hours with not rush or hold ups.

I will be coming back to Ute Creek again and want to bring my friends along with me.

I've been playing Ute Creek for several years. A very nice and well kept municipal course. Challenging but not so hard as to make the high handicapper throw in the towel by the 8th hole.

I've played Ute Creek since the first day it opened. While there have been some modest changes it is a wonderful track. I belong to a private club now, but my buddies and I do many local "road trips" during the year and Ute Creek is always on our list.

Well maintained golf course with greens that roll true. Challenging layout set up for all levels of player. Utilizes the terrain and creeks very well. Great local staff. The only reason I downgrade this course at all is because of the poor quality of the bunkers. They don't contain sand: apparently this course can only find a slurry of mud and sand for its traps. If you get in 'em, they play like a wasteland rather than a proper bunker. Otherwise my favorite course in the area.

We had a BOGO so two seniors paid $37 to ride which was great. We played in 4 hours teeing off at 9:30 which was nice too. Greens were cut and quick too

I measure a course by fairness of holes. Every hole at Ute Creek is fair. Pick you tee box and get ready for a good experience.

Ute Creek was a very nice surprise. Great layout, easy walk and plenty of trouble lurking. It was very windy the day I played but there were plenty of landing zones to aim for based on the wind. I would recommend this course to anyone, and I can’t wait to play it again.

Winds made the course unplayable on the day but I was happy with the overall conditions of the course. Solid all-around

Incredible time. Course in great condition. Place of play was good for Saturday

First of all, I will say that the course is in good shape for how early in the season it is. Your staff is very friendly.. what could improve: Pace of play. You need to do a better job of advertising when is cart path only. This added to your regular pace of play issues and it was not really needed. While the fairways were a little wet in spots the rule should have been carts ok in the rough through the whole course. There are many areas where you can’t even see the fairways or where your ball ended up when you are on the cart path. Most of the course was perfectly dry so why would you have a cart path only rule when you don t even have cart paths throughout the course? The dirt paths were at the bottom Of a lot of the hills and honestly those were the softest areas of the course. I saw numerous areas where carts left tire marks 6-8 inches deep on the paths. Have fun fixing those which are cause by your dumb rules and lack of course condition assessments. You have a major pace of play problem at this golf course. It is such a well designed, challenging and fun course to play but I have rarely completed 17 holes in under 5 hours 30 min. My advice to you would be to avoid the ridicules pin placements like the one front right on 18 and do front left during days which are busier. Some of the pins were tucked in some rediculas areas for Sunday, just a thought.
