About
Formerly a cornfield, Robert Trent Jones Jr. utilized the natural area and the import of over 600,000 cubic yards of dirt to create the challenging Ute Creek Golf Course. The championship course has a traditional links-style layout that is said to challenge even the most avid of golfers. The public, 18-hole golf course offers 7,167 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. It features several water hazards, especially on the back nine holes, with five lakes situated on the course and two streams that wind through it. Ute Creek Golf Course's well-bunkered greens and undulating, multi-level fairways provide more interesting elements to the game.

Golf course was in pretty good condition. Very firm and fast. Staff was super friendly and pace of play wasn’t bad.

Course has great wide fairways.
Holes have a great variety of challenges and the hole course is in great shape.

Excellent challenge/ value
Great layout with 5 different t boxes!
I turned 76 last month and the newly added white tees were a perfect fit for my game——- between the 5500 red tees and the 6100 blue tees , although not on the scorecard, it was a good challenge!
Only downside was the condition of most sand traps, due to recent rainfall , more like mud traps

Nice course, even in the wind
The course was in good condition and fun to play. Not too difficult, but a fair test. Would definitely play again. The staff was outstanding. I rented clubs for my wife and had to leave my drivers license. When I get to the airport a few days later I realize I left it at the course. When I got home I called the course and they found my ID and mailed it the same day. I really appreciated that.

Excellent course
We were delayed a while due to a tourney running late, then it was cattle call, with everyone packed together getting off for a 5 hour round....but, the course was in great condition, really fun layout, not too hard, and greens were in terrific condition. Never saw a drink cart either, but still, a good coursee.

5.5 hour round
Nice course but pace of play is unacceptable.
Played here twice last week 4 and 3/4 and 5.5 hour rounds. There was a couple playing out of one bag and he was teaching her how to play, on a sunday afternoon no less. Marshall was informed on the first hole but he just shrugged his shoulders and said "really"?
Guys this is not how to run a golf course.
You need to cut the rough down, native areas too! Your clientele are not good enough to play it the way it's set up.
Preach ready golf! Move the tee boxes up. I would rate the track but the pace of play here casts a pall on the whole course.

SLOOOOW Round
Course and staff are fine. 5-1/2 hours for a round doesn't cut it. Started few minutes late and it slowed down from there. Hard to stay focused when waiting 5 minutes between most shots. There was a marshal, but he didn't seem to be doing any marshalling.

Great Robert Trent Jones Jr public course
Played this fantastic course on a busy promotion day but pace of play was great and the mountain views were beautiful. Greens were quick but fair and the generous fairways were well groomed. You must play this course.
